I'm quite suprised that nobody has mentioned deathclaws yet.

Deathclaws are the best, in my opinion. I was always rather angry about what happens to Vault 13. It's not like at that point the deathclaws and myself couldnt have fucked up any Enclave patrol foolish enough to come within a mile of the place.

Definitely the deathclaws. I think they're rather iconic to the Fallout universe. When you play the game and they get talked up by Harold, it's kind of mythic, like dragons in Oriental culture.

Unfortunately, FOT and even FO2 spoiled the image of deathclaws...

I agree on that. In FO2 they are not looked upon as ultimate killing machines like in FO, a shame really.
