Feminism and why it's bad.

I'm sure there were. Of course, no one is advocating for forbidding anyone from being a housewife if they want to. The point is that in the past and to a lesser extent in the present, many women don't actually have a real choice in the matter. That's the point.

What if they don't want the choice?

See, "SJW's" (apostrophes don't pluralize words in English) have a sense of humor. They just think your humor is shit.

What does SJW humor sound like? I'm genuinely curious, I don't remember the last time I heard a joke that didn't mock a race, religion, ethnic group or sexual orientation. The majority of jokes where I'm from know no political correctness.
@Tagaziel SJW is a slur? What's the polite term then?

Please don't get this wrong, but is that even a serious question?

It feels like asking if every black person wants to have to make choices about slavery. Or every child to make choices about beeing beaten. Or people in third world nations to have to make choices about beeing poor. - You hopefully get the picture.

I always thought gender equallity should be more or less a given, like abolishing slavery, or no clue easy access to food and water and such stuff.

No one, NO ONE, here says there are not preferences and biological differences. A female has a vag a guy has a penis. We all get that. But outside of that, both males and females on average display the exact same intelectual capacity. What we argue about is this idea of gender-roles beeing an absolute or even a biological condition.

To say it that way, I have no reason to believe that girls are worse in math because they are girls. Or that males can't take care of infants because they are males.

Oh yeah, they comment on things with endless strings of hilariously sassy GIFs from TV shows.

Those who don't want it can abdicate responsibility. Those who do want choice shouldn't be prevented from making it - whatever it is.

Marx Brothers comedies come to mind. Or Mel Brooks.

Decent human being?

It doesn't have to do with just women, it's people in general. For example, I read somewhere that Bhutan was an absolute monarchy until one day the king decided to make it a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, and that the people were and still are unhappy with that decision. The same goes for many women in many societies. Some people prefer not to make choices for themselves.

Ah, so that's SJW humor. Not as bad as I expected :)

Ah, but why is that? Because they genuinely believe that or because it has been drilled into them that they shouldn't want any control over their life?

What's the difference between the two? A belief is a belief, how it came to be is more relevant to a discussion on parenting than this.

Mel Brooks? Didn't he constantly use ethnic stereotypes?

I like how Tagz skips over all the posts and quotes Vault17 instead because of course his unconscious is like: "I can beat him and look rightious while doing it!"

Mostly because I don't feel like dealing with people who align themselves with monsters from 4chan, for whom mass shootings are a cause for celebration. And yes, your propagation of slurs like SJW is part of the problem, Akratus.

How does it feel to be a living, walking caricature?

House of Lies, Parks and Rec, Community, The Toast, Black Jesus -- if you think you can only be funny by punching down, you have a serious lack of imagination. Or dare I say, a limited sense of humor.

So therefore it's okay to take that choice away from those who do? Like, what's your point here?

Gamergater says what?

You can't take away something that isn't there to begin with. The point is that we have two situations here - cultures in which most women women want to be (and are) equal and cultures where most women don't want to be equal and all are unequal. The women in cultures with no gender equality who want to be equal are the only opressed group here, everyone else is (or in the case of western women - should be) happy.

And what can we do for those actually opressed? Absolutely nothing. So the point would be that feminism in the west is useless bitching for the sake of useless bitching.

@Tagaziel Achoo and Rabbi Tuckman from Robin Hood Men In Tights aren't stereotypes?

Oh yeah, 'cause those feminist movements totally don't exist in cultures with no gender equality. Oh no wait, that's total bullshit and you're pulling shit out of your ass to continue justifying your sexist BS.
