Apart from that it was pretty fun. After my first futile attempt of robbing a fellow player of his stuff I teamed up with some random fellow. We managed to kill a npc just in time for the rest of the village people to show up, and it was about that time my companion died. I managed to grab the loot and ran out of town. I sold the loot and bought myself some armor. A bit later my companion is back wondering how I got hold of all that stuff, and off we were on another robbing spree.
Hey monsharen, that was me! Awful!
I gotta say, the game runs smooth and it's quite impressive. Though I really see the traveling speed (in this open test) as a huge flaw. It takes what, 10 minutes to get from the respawn point to the Den (with a bunch of Timed Out errors in between)? But if you guys have different locations not-so-far from one another, it's probably going to be okay.
I really like some the ideas I'm reading. The players should be able to create the world themselves, make their own gangs and organizations, have routes to run goods from city A to city B - but everything with restrictions and with a strong sense of roleplaying. Nothing wrong with a bunch of NPC quests, though.
Now, since I don't understand russian, the world was confusing to me. And I really didn't know where to begin, or what to do in general. Though it was fun running around with monsharen up there, trying to stick up people and get some cash.
If you manage to translate the whole world into english, and fix the flaws (losing all your stuff when respawned, having some sort of protection from the Steal skill, being the biggest that I have noticed) I could see myself playing that game for a lot of time.
All in all, it can be pretty damn good, given you have right people around you.
