If you're unhappy with muslim bashing posts in other topics or general thread derailment, report the posts. I don't read every topic, and usually only start intervening if one or more people start to complain about said derailment.

The cathedral being on fire was covered by practically every media outlet in the world. It's a topic and probably the only real frame of reference he had for the topic

Maybe, because I am living in this part of the world and I am surounded by Christians - for the most part, so it sticks out more, gets more news coverage, plays a lager role in our society and my life, what ever if I want it or not, as I can not throw a stone without hiting a church sometimes.

If this was about a mosque and some arabian sheiks throwing billions at it, I would have the same opinion. But nice strawman by the way.

The issue I am trying to say is there is NO topic about rich people building mosques, THAT is the point. Why don't I see you saying, "should rich guys be taxed so they don't waste their money on making mosques".

Quick way to solve this here thing. I swear in a couple of past threads we have debated in that you claimed objectivity,. I must have been wrong because you sir, are definitely NOT objective and clearly pushing agendas. You clearly have a fixation on the U.S., and the need to call out its flaws while ignoring others, at least when it comes to topic creation. Good to know there is another Assange here.

Oh. I guess you must have missed all those thimes, I said that I am STRONG leftist. Of course I have an agenda and of course I try to push that narrative. There are also instances where I am for sure biased. I am not making a secret out of that.

But what you're trying right now, is to paint a situation that's a form of deflection. Russia is an asshole, China is an asshole, the European Union is an asshole and there have been instances where I also criticised them as well, when it was mentioned.

But it is an UNDENIABLE FACT(!) that the largest global player in OUR TIME, is the United States of America, so naturally it will see a higher focus. be it in the media, or the debates happening, at the very least in the western hemisphere. I am sorry if this is disturbing for you, but that's how it is I am afraid, I am sure India does a lot of Bullshit to, but their effect on my life, is simply small. However, I do notice that China is becoming at least here in Europe also more of a topic, the more influence they gain world wide, particularly when it comes to Africa - and I am also watching quite regularly China Uncensored, which is more a form of satire but still interesting really as its outside of the typical main-stream media. Maybe I can give your criticism right back at you? If we're to focused on a narrative about criticising the USA, maybe you're to focused on defending it? No clue.

The point is, that right now, the highest impact on the society I live in, has the United States. Trough organisations like the Atlantik Brücke, Mont Pelerin Society, Lobbysm, large donnors which have very closely ties to many politicans and the largest political parties. There exists a high degre of influence by American Politics in ours and on top of it Snowden revelaed the large impact the NSA has in Germany and the Europe Union which had ZERO(!) consequences for anyone involved.

I am neutral in the sense that if let us say Russia was in the same position doing the same, then I would complain about their influence just as I do about the US. Which I also do, since Russia is very deep in supporting extreme right wing politics in Europe, which is a huge problem. But they are, still in the minority.
