Gamefaqs says FO3 one of greatest games of decade.

As much as I liked FO3 (for a while anyway...after FNV I hardly touch it), I also have to admit I played much better games (in terms of enjoyment. Your definition of "better" may vary).

Here's a short list of games (That I have played) I enjoyed more than FO3. They aren't in any particular order and are my own personal favorites, so don't crucify me for putting something strange.

- Deus Ex
- Fallout New Vegas
- Condemned: Criminal Origins
- Both Bloodrayne games
-S.T.A.L.K.E.R
-Batman Arkham Asylum
- Duke Nukem Manhatten Project

All of these, imo, deserve to be higher on the list than FO3.
Where? I dunno. I'm terrible at making greatest X of all time lists.
But they should be higher.

I can add to that list:

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Fable 3
Any Assasin's Creed game
Heavy Rain
Allan Wake
Silent Hill (take your pic)

My point was simply that while I agree the main quest story sucks (OMG ENCLAVE! KILL!!), there is much more to FO3 than the main quest. There are plenty of sidequest and history presented in the wasteland, plenty of non-essencial but immersive stories from things that happened pre-war to the very intriguing Vaults, to the very interesting tale of Little Lamplight. So while the main quest left much to be desired, I still found it possible to be immersed in this environment and the 'world' that Fallout 3 created.

My favorit moments? Simply wandering around combing through rubble like a common scavenger. Makes me feel like I am trying to eke out some semblance of life in post-apocalyptia.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, that was an amazing game, and since it came out before 3D Realms went under (well, obviously... they MADE it) so there was still hope to hold out for that Duke Nukem Forever was somewhere on the horizon, this was a wonderful throwback to Duke's origins. It played like the originals, had the same amusing humor and flare of the 3D titles, and the graphics were just sleek and awe-inspiring to behold (for the time, at least). I miss that game, I wish its re-release was available on more platforms than the 360... =/

Anywho, Fallout 3...
