Play the series chronologically, go with FO1 first. Some people might argue that playing a first run through FO2 with RP is not the best idea, but I regard RP as canon. Really stitches a lot of holes. Either case, have fun.

The Order is a special group within NMA. If NMA was a nightclub the Order would be the VIP room. :monocle:

With a wide open door, no guard, and orderites tumbling in and out, drunk and jolly
I like it. As soon as I joined NMA, tO had the funniest posts, and it was hard not to be attracted to the crazy :V

Yup, amazing place. I was a dedicated tO lurker long before registering this account, and several years after, until Korin hid it from curious eyes of unlogged fellows. :look:

Thanks for that.

Yeah, when I read the rules I saw the Vats mentioned, I just hadn't looked through the forum, so I didn't realise it actually referred to a section, I thought it was just a metaphor for deletion. Got it now.

I'll definitely drop by on the rest, especially since my disappointment with FO4 will no doubt lead me to play the older games, and I'd be keen to try F2 Restoration.

Yeah, play Fallout 1. You'll understand why the Vats are where mutants are made :D

So, I was reading about Electronic Blood, sounds pretty crazy and if they actually get it working we could very well be on the path to actually having domestic robots in the near future. It actually inspired me to come up with another story, cyberpunk one, altho a more "Post scarcity Anarchy" version of cyberpunk than the usual Noir style of Cyberpunk and I wonder, would Electronic Blood actually be super cold or just boiling if it got out of the robot? Say like the robot gets attacked or even the robot shoots it out as a desperate move?

Probably not boiling, but also not extremely cold. If its purpose is to cool and deliver power it will probably be around 20° (at the low end) to be most efficient, depending on exterior temperature for the heat exchanger.
On the hot end of the cooling cycle it would be warm, but not boiling, as electronics don't like high temperatures.

So it would be like regular blood then. Welp, I had a cool idea for it but I guess it just wouldn't make much sense. I still have lots of other weird ideas for it, like natural birth being basically a lost concept on everyone and the concept of a blood family not even being a thing.

Well, it could be around 90°C at the hottest part, but the general trend is to make electronics more efficient and cooler. 90°C is Pentium 4/Geforce 8800GTX levels of inefficiency :D

Interesting.
Thanks for the answer Hass, even if that killed an idea it's still useful info to have when I get down to writting. I am completely ileterate when it comes to the actual physiscal aspects of computers so I always have to ask this stuff.

No problem. Computers aren't my specialty either, but the general physics are always the same :D

(Nasty post.)

I think that Coca‐Cola might be irritating my stomach and giving me diarrhœa. It’s strange because I don’t recall having this problem before. Drinking water, carbonated and otherwise, gives me no problems, but my body has decided to reject Coke.

Maybe it’s a defence mechanism.

My post was missing a key couple of characters.

REplay the older games would have been more like it - I've been through FO1 and FO2 countless times (alhtough I never played Tactics), so yeah I got the reference to the Vats, just didn't get it was an actual subforum.

I have a feeling I'm not being very clear, but anyway.

Well yes but as it is these ship wrecks belong to the Colombian people and as a citizen you're entitled to your share. From 17 billion bucks (if it is the max yield), you should get at least something.

I have an interest in nautical stuff. These shipwrecks are a grey area especially if relatively new. Some, from World War 2, are designated war graves and thus out of bounds but still they dive there to get the loot.

Another season of "Tore på Sporet" a show Norwegians love to mock while secretly adoring, where the host Tore tracks people who have lost each others (each season take years to complete, because they involve lengthy tracking down of people, so he has quite the unusual contract with the TV channel, where he is totally outside all spotlights for years at the time, before a new season is announced)

In this episode Gunnar, the son of a Soviet POW is reunited with his Russian relatives

So many tears falling from my face, man

Goddamn this show...

At least it has the (unintentional) comedic relief of Tore's overly poetic narration, always stuff like " - it is as though the clouds themselves sympathize, as they withdraw, and allow rays of sun to brighten this otherwise misty morning :0" damn Tore, that's beautiful :V

I fucking hate Crunch time... Butthe bosses told us they would compensate us on new year for this. Damn clients not making things simpler.
