True. Actually just the other day I did go to a local football match over here in Finland, my home town team played against another team in a league match played on teh highest level of football here, Veikkausliiga. I think over here the risk of hooligan activity is highest in the derby matches between the two teams of the capital, Helsinki.
 
Football to me means less traffic when I am off work as most people either got home earlier to catch the game or holed themselves at in any public place with a TV. Not much of a fan of it myself so it also means boring conversations during lunch.
 
Biggest reason I never got into sports. It makes people act like absolute idiots. Really brings out the worst in them. I also don't understand how people can feel pride over how good a complete stranger kicks a ball, and want to murder someone who wears the wrong colors.

Speaking of MMA, I also don't understand how the hottest most trendy "sport" these days is watching two morons kick the living shit out of each other.

Some Russian hooligan filmed Go Pro - footage of the stupid rioting stuff. Almost like a FPS - game, "Total Hooligan - Russian Edition".I wonder how the World Cup in two years will go in Russia.

You have misinterpreted what this threads about. This isn't a general discussion thread about Doom its the general discussion thread of doom, and its only really meant to be about shitposting, not the game doom.
This is OPS words.
Fellow NMA users. This thread is whatever you choose to make of it. Talk about how much you hate your relatives, whine about your life when people dump you, you know that sort of thing. General discussion as the title would imply. I suggest talking about religion or politics since it's the most volatile topic imaginable and many people have strong opinions on it. I am pretty sure i'm closer to an ape than a human. Self learning math has taught me that my problem solving part of the brain has not developed to human standards. Every new subject that i encounter ends up in me feeling like i'm climbing a wall that has a height of infinity and at the same time rubbing my dick on glass shards.
 
I played the System Shock remake demo, I have to say that it ran really well on my rig. I was getting 120-145 frames per second with the lowest being around 90. I don't get the pixelated aesthetic it has, with all the different effects applied it's going to be a distraction and not look as good. Gameplay was alright besides having to enter the numbers into the keypad by looking at the keys instead of popping up an interface to use a mouse cursor or use the keyboard number keys with. The robots looked nice but the zombie mutants looked..funny more than scary holding their arms out like they wanted to give you a hug. The opera music doesn't sit well with the atmosphere and the game in general too, they should stick to the original music and touch it up without altering it. The Saturn rings were nice to look at from the windows too.

Overall it was okay but they'll have a lot to live up to with the original System Shock.

Heh, I also looked up hooligan-footage, I was in the hatred-mood, actively looking up stuff to make me angry at the world :V I do that sometimes. Not often!
Anyway, looking at the footage, I was thinking to myself "so this is what it looks like, from the pov of the douchebag!" I was even fokusing on pants and shoes, like, how ordinarily human they are dressed, while behaving like that... an oportunity for existensialism, that kind of footage

Why do they bother explaining anything? They should just conclude that anything they point to is "the natural order of things", "the world is flat because that's the natural order of things!"

I also love how they dismiss everything that "cannot be explained" as something that will never, ever be explained, as if we know everything we can know - right now
and furthermore how they tell you not to read any Einstein, but instead recommends a video on Youtube
