General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

I coulda swore that the skateboarding game was part of the Xbox version too. But then again I probably played on the PS2. I dunno, that part of my Metal Gear days is kind of hazy.


I am still going through Mega Man 3. My sister's boyfriend has been playing with me some. He's a younger fellow so I have to teach as we go but he does alot better than most whom played for the first time. He beat Hard Man with the buster weapon without using the Magnet Missles. So the kid has the right stuff to play Mega Man.
 
Mysteries of Westgate. I simply can't force myself to play it, it's boooring.

Unless you are a big Baldur's Gate 2 fan or desperatly want to have a calimshan rainbow hamster like Minsc, don't buy it. The DRM and childish NPCs and dialogues make it bad enough to skip it without any loss.
 
Im playing the mod Last hope for Fallout 2, great fun but still (understandably) buggy.

Next game would propably be W40K - DoW, ive heard some good things about that one.
 
I'm currently playing Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday - Armageddon and a bit of IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.
Also fooling around with the Fallout Mapper (trying to create a little desert settlement around a gas station). ;)

DoW 1 + expansions is great fun, unbeatable atmosphere. DoW 2 is good for one playthrough.
 
DoW kept my interest for about a week, then I moved on.

Right now I'm playing a lot of Sim City 4 Deluxe, and on my PS3 I'm playing a lot of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, getting ready for Sigma two!
 
Currently playing The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. It is great so far.

Recently I had been playing Men of War, Mass Effect and Dead Space.


Dead Space was highly enjoyable all the way through. Men of War has decent multiplayer, however I enjoy Company of Heroes more. CoH's gameplay is just more refined. As for Mass Effect, I had played a year ago and the game just doesn't have replay value for some reason, even after all that time. It was good the first play through.
 
Gawd. No offense. I just thought that game was a piece of crap. It really didn't tickle my fancy or shock me as it's intended purpose was.
It was just overall terrible imo.
 
a lot of people don't like it, cool with me, it's just so damned amusing, in the expansion pack there are Mad Cow Turrets Zombies who yell "Piece of shit!", after a long day it's pretty awesome.

just got done downloading Far Cry, lets see if this thing is any good.
 
still playing penny arcade adventures episode one which is sweet. I really love the funny dialogues and the combat. it reminds me a lot of fallout.
Also playing a little bit of little big planet every now and then. funny how people have made fallout 3 levels!

yup, postal ² was awesome! I also enjoyed the "Apocalyse Weekend" expansion. Can't wait for Postal ³. I just hope it wont get cancelled.
 
Saints Row 2 : paid 15 bucks for that unplayable mess. That's too bad because the game looks way more amusing than GTA IV. I could only stand it for half an hour.

Left 4 Dead 2 : because I'm on a winning frenzy with my team and it's been a while. :mrgreen:

Nosferatu : scariest game I've played in a while :crazy:

played that a while ago. quite a scary game. But it was also quite hard as far as i can remember. also, if i can remember correctly, the combat kinda sucked.
 
Left 4 Dead², that would be a way cooler name, thanks for using those symbols that I can't seem to find on my fucking computer! (I got angry as I typed that, imagine it starts out light hearted then BANG, I start kicking puppies).
 
Witcher...., haven't had the time to do all the branch stories. Okami..., must play. And Diablo 2 because I was nostalgic after watching the trailer from 3. Trying hard to find SMAC.
