General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Out of curiosity, are there any other gamers here who still play Borderlands and its DLCs?

I have been considering to pick up Left 4 Dead 2 but I fear it will consume even more of my time should I get a taste for it.
I just started Borderlands again, just reached Playthrough 2, don't have the Cl4p TP DLC though.

And Left 4 Dead 2 is too fun.
But you'll get annoyed at the idiotic pathing the zombies have in Expert and will probably get pissed off at Vanilla Versus being too unbalanced.
I only play Realism Versus with others who have mic's or mutations for blowing off some steam.

Dead Space
Good game, but I didn't like it for the visuals (not really my style) and the awkward clunky walking (and camera).
Well I love the older Silent Hill and Resident Evil games so for me it was nice with the way the character moved and handled weapons. :)

the witcher (damn vista bug)

Vista bug?

yes a bug that seems to only happend in windows vista or 7 (i have 7) after a few hours( 2 in my computer) of gameplay the game crashes, i cant save the game and the map gets black, i found a fix but i dont have enough memory to do it

There is hotfix available on Microsoft pages for that "Vista bug". (this hotfix is included already in the Vista Service Pack 1.) Read the Witcher's "readme" file for detailed informations.
Code:
1) The Witcher may exhaust virtual address space when running on 32-bit Windows Vista. Microsoft has released a hotfix that addresses this problem. Please download the hotfix from the following location when playing the game on 32-bit Windows Vista: [url]http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105[/url]

Finished the Witcher 2 times on Vista without any real problems.

Was feeling nostalgic today and bought X-Com Enemy Unknown (or Ufo Defense as it is called on Steam/US version). I didn't remember the game to be this 'challenging', guess I need to 'get back into it'.

Any (fanmade) patches that I should install?

Reinstalled this, I don't know why I like it so much, to be honest it probably ranks somewhere in my top 15 favourite games ( which is surprising because the game is pretty bad according to reviewers). This is the third time I'm playing through it.

I rented that on the PS2 ages ago. Could not figure out what to do in the first 5 min because I was stuck running around a snow field or something, so I tossed it aside and played Freedom Fighters instead. I should give it another go sometime.

Thank goodness someone else plays the thing, I thought I was the only one, I'm actually tempted to do a "let's play" of it when I get my hands on a new computer

Giving Fallen Earth a try. Looks pretty good so far for a mmorpg. And much of the scenery is cool post-apo stuff.

Oh god yes thanks for reminding me, I so gotta go play that.
Only need to fish out my PS2 who's around here somewhere. >_>

I started playing Fallout Tactics tonight, had trouble getting into it. Graphically it looks real nice though. It's a shame Fallout 1/2 can't look the way tactics does.

It really is not a bad game, if you go into it not expecting it to be a Fallout RPG. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way up until the robots start taking precedence in missions. It loses me pretty much every time at that point.

The game of a thousand fuse boxes, like the idea (the infested people idea not the fuse box one) but never got around to getting it.

Currently playing SOE's Clone Wars Adventures, mostly because beating 12 year olds at Speeder Bike racing is very satisfying.

Finished it earlier today, great game, but the difficulty is flying all over the place near the end.

I guess I should correct myself, actually. It did get a good reception from some reviewers (some gave it 100/100, christ!) but mostly around 50-70/100 from others. I guess it's regarded as a pretty "meh" game, still one of my favourites though.
