OK

sry for DP.

this method si great, but for full automatic there are to much little errors. So better work manually, but with this method, is so easy and fast.

i will capture a tutorial video this days.

and i will work on the blad gyu ,so plz tell me what is finish yet, and why not.

the bald guy in leather jacket has been entirely done by X'IL.
As for the others, well, Josan made some of them for the NPC mod, you should donwload them and see what's to do, but for the leather armor (with green pants) and for the jumpsuit, nothing is done. (to my knowing)
keep us posted on any developpment!

@Mr Wolna: good work on the automation process. I spent quite a long time trying to develop a way to automate making the NPC armor mod. In the end i gave up and stuck with the manual method. But now there are so many critters being created/edited it would be great to develop a way to automate it! I'm sure it can be done. In fact, i suspect no scripting is even required. I think PS has all the functions needed - it's just a matter of finding a way.

ful automatic, is niot possible. not for all but with this method you will work much faster. i will give a short tut this week.

@bald gyu so what ALL the leather jackeet frames for HERO are done?

like big weapons and so on? ok i will give a try with the vaultsuit and leather armor.

WHOAA!!! that was fast...and apparently easy too!!... Mr.Wolna, you must, you MUST  , explain this method of yours to me in detail, step by step...(Damn!!...now i have to get Photoshop...what version should i get?)

If this works as advertised: :notworthy:

The bald guy in leather jacket has all the weapon animations except for 3: the knife, the "melee weapons" (cattle prod and such), and the hammer...oh, and it also lacks AE (climbing) and AS (throwing)... :)

nice thank you.

so this and the armor mod? no more for bold.

ah whatever, i will check it now thank you very much.

hey x'il thats crazy you did this pakc with the past and copy methoD? how long you worked on it?

thats har when you do not use Ps cause when we had the PSD files i would make all armors in 1 day.

About 2 frm's daily in average...i think it was like a month and half to two months...All with the copy/paste method, yes, like the "evil cassidy" critter and the animations for the long hair dude i've done so far... :P

By Ps i assume you mean Photoshop, so yes, i do not use it cause i don't have it, so i don't even know what a PSD file is...

If you can make all armors in 1 day (i assume that's with the method you described above), make a tutorial (it doesn't need to be a video per se) and share your technique with the rest of us...

no i cannot do this without finished PSD file. my method sit siple you can paste and copy or the rubber, its your choise bit folks use layers. to work on all armors at one time and do not make the same unless work over and over with each new armor. look at the video above, i think that says all.

 OK...i can barely understand what you are saying there, but what i was trying to say in my previous post is that, since i have never used PS, i cannot understand what you did in the video above without a noob-ish step by step explanation like a tutorial :)

i would say first of all you must go ant catch PS. All other user should understand what i mean., i hope also with my bad english-.-

So the magic word is WORK WITH LAYERS. For editing all armors at one time, that will be save you much work.

BTW: x'il you did a really clean work on the leather jacket critter. But did you use the mirror trick, like josan did? I hope not, all my respekt to josan but the resultat of mirrowing frmaes not always look good i think.

Yep, in this way I produced ~ 500 tiles (and scenery related to this). Layers are also useful with more complicated scenery, where "multi pass" rendering is required.

[quote="UnidentifiedFlyingTard" have never used it but I hear its very good for beginners.[/quote]

Oh sorry in my opinion that's not true. Sure Gimp si a really powerfull tool. The once who can mess with PS (in freeware) with PS.

But its really not user friendly. I HATE the GIMP GUI. But try, or use another multilayers tool when you cannot get your fingers on Photoshop. Witch is your current tool?

Just a suggestion brothers...
I think to something actually.
I have finished soon my black dude and restart red sonja.
Do you think it can be usefull to save each new head color in psd and share it to another people can simply aplly another color?
We 'll gain some time I think.
Using kind of layers.
NO?

No i didn't use mirror trick. Regarding Josan's animations, I think he has been fixing that lately.

So far i've been using just windows paint...but i just got PS CS4...so i would need someone to explain to me the necesary bits and functions for critter editing beyond the simple copy/pasting and how to work with layers in it. :)
