Gun Control

Well if you check the daily media you'll examples.

You're essentially telling people to cherry-pick.

In this day and age you can easily confirm any position or bias you have by looking for media that supports it. Just a year ago it was 'trending' that several black teens kidnapped an autistic white kid and used him as an ashtray while broadcasting it to Facebook. A skinhead would conclude that his original position, all blacks are savages, is true. A rational individual would conclude that there are terrible people out there who should be dealt with appropriately.

There's very little that separates your thought process from that of a skinhead looking for reasons to hate something or someone.

Ok so you and DarkCorp are anti-black racists, I get it. Anything else about this topic?

Anyhoo, back on topic.

Man, that was the Scalppost to end all Scalpposts. It's close to the end of the year, and I don't think you can top this one. Congratulations!

Yeah, I think he forgot his meds again and he needs a little break from this thread to get the childlock on his pill bottle open. Think he can manage it in two days? We'll see.

Clear case of feralization by Vukology exposure, ladies and gentlemen.
Nah, he does that all by himself. He's mostly lucid, but sometimes he stays in the sauna too long and then he can't open his pill bottle with his sweaty hands.

The question I bring up in weapon control debates is "where is the line?" Assault rifles, grenades, missiles, nukes. How dangerous a weapon does something have to be until you think "maybe it's not a good idea for people to have this"?

and the answer to that is you can't own any of those without the ATF kicking down your door and shooting your dog.

Good question, most gun control laws never even think about it. While I cannot own those above (real assault rifles are own legal for those who had licenses before they were banned, grenades are a big no and I think the other two would have the UN knocking on your door), in Canada it is perfectly legal from my understanding to own an artillery canon, just need to find one for sale.....

It is legal to own a cannon in the states too. Also grenade launchers, mini-guns and flamethrowers in most states.

In Kentucky, where I live, there are no restrictions on gun ownership for people convicted of domestic violence, no mandatory background checks of any kind, no assault weapons ban, and no red flag laws, which prohibits an individual from owning a firearm if they are deemed a threat to themselves or others. Kentucky is an extremely red state, so getting people on board with any gun laws here will almost always be met with, "Those damn Democrats are trying to take our guns away!" It's a lost cause. People are scarily obsessed with their guns.

Yep. In Oregon, where I'm from, cities and counties are responsible for passing their own legislation, so the rural parts of the state have basically no regulations.

Question here, from my understanding you would still need to follow federal laws right? If so the grenade launchers and mini-guns need background checks as you need a federal approval. As well as each single grenade being considered with the federal tax stamp on them so an extra $250 on top of the purchase of each grenade.

But yeah beyond that I can see you don't have what most would require a minimum. (although I don't and will never agree with assault "weapon" laws as they are stupid pointless things.)

I'm assuming. Then again it is America. I've never really looked into it because I know jack shit about guns.

And that right there is the main issue about gun control. It is generally people who know jack shit who ask for more gun control, I don't mean any offense to you but this is the standard I find almost everywhere.

So to all, please inform yourself on a topic before you polarize your opinion on it.

I know some stuff about guns because my husband had an interest in them, but when it comes to what I know vs what other people know, I'm basically clueless.

I just want my children to be able to go to school without the fear of them being massacred. And I know quite a few gun fanatics that agree with some form of gun control. Also, no offense taken.

If you don't know how to reload an actual gun or calibers that you didn't learn from videogames you shouldn't be able to say anything about it smh
