With those people they'd would either be blaming themselves for allowing economic and social conditions to get so bad that poor souls have resorted to attacking those with more privilege to show their discontent or calling up the head of their HOA to bitch about how a undesirable was somehow able to bypass their perimeter walls and private security of their gated community.

Oh yeah it must be nice to have a gated community. The only gate I have is barb wire on one side of my property and chicken wire on the other. With no actual gate in between.
 
Yea you guys have to defend against wild animals, crack heads, etc. and the only way to do that is with guns. In a way I understand that. It's a little sad and I wish that maybe you guys could move to a safer area? Having said that I understand the wish to live in a more rural area near nature and not in a shitty big city.

You may get a feeling of safety from guns but in the bigger picture the guns at private homes cause a lot of damage too. People get drunk, angry, there are arguments etc. or they shoot at a burglar who wasn't a burglar or something.

It seems that Americans think that the guns at home make them safer but in reality they don't.

Sorry I couldn't hold that in. Well studies show that the people that are coming for your guns are the ones you should be afraid of in the long run. I mean look at all the innocent black people killed by police every year. Amirite? It all depends on the narrative.

Who do you need to fear the most? In my case it is wild animals first, crackheads second, government jackboot thugs third. That third option is one of those zombie apocalypse style scenarios where the cops are raiding large apartment complexes due to the dead bodies being stored there. If you get that reference you get a prize.

Actually these liberals calling for the defunding of police have it right.

Well for one it is a false premise. I never said more guns would solve crime so your argument is dead in it's tracks. I don't trust anything 100% when it comes to the news. I will acknowledge that your source is credible and funded by Lefty Circus Clowns as usual.

I said guns serve a role IN MY LIFE and those around me that I know personally. Basically all Oklahomans.

Look if you live in the country and don't own a gun you are a moron. It feels weird needing to explain that.
 
After the riots, if a pencil neck lefty tells me to give up my guns I will cave his skull in. I was the victim of sexual assault. I told myself that would never happen again. You have a right to feel safe too! More power to you. When push comes to shove it is up to every individual to protect themselves when nobody else can. Shit like this just makes me more nervous than usual. I feel like I need to buy a handgun.

Gun sales are up, mostly do to the quarantine though the media is trying to retcon that into the upcoming race war fears, with many women buying firearms at a higher rate. obviously somebody will say the reason a woman would purchase a firearm is because they are insecure in the size of their small penis.

I can imagine Finland disarming only for Russia to roll through and take over without a fight because the military forgot to keep their guns.

The point is when someone has intent to kill the laws cease to matter because they are already looking at serious jail time or death. You want to get rid of gun deaths in the US? Not going to happen. Why? Too many people already own them. People you wouldn't think would own a pistol own a pistol. Now in Finland or over in pansy ass California that might not be the case.

When I see my 70+ year old grandma with a pistol in her purse I know she has safety in mind.
 
There's really no way to fully control the black market, so criminals will always get a gun if they want to. Stricter laws would, at most, reduce accidents and maybe suicides for increasing the barrier for shooting yourself.
 
Not in a country where your neighbor owns over 100 guns. Even my next door neighbor from California has several.
