At 06:00 Kahgan woke up suddenly; "WAKE UP, YOU FRIGGIN' MAGGOTS!" Arco was walking arround and waking up the recruits, "WE LEAVE AT SEVEN! DONT BE LATE OR I'LL BRAKE YOUR SPINES!"
Kahgan got up, he was in a really bad mood, he didn't like being waken up so early and in such a brutal way. But he got a litle happier when he gave Jack a "light" kick in the side, "C'mon, time to get up *yawn*" Tenel Ka was already up, she didnt seem to be bothered, she to found some amusement in seing jacks morning-face.

Kahgan cut some slices of the meat jerky, tightened his shoe lices, put on the belt, drank some water, and generally got ready.

Chua woke up suddenly. He asked one of the recruits around the glowing fire how much the clock was.
" 04:53" he replied
Chua tried to go back to sleep, but he didn't fall asleep. He lay on the ground with his eyes wide open, looking at his combat knife.

Chua got up and sat down on one of the big rocks nearby. He found a half rifle butt on the ground and started to whittle on it.

Half an hour later he began to walk to the market, just to have something to do. When he arrived everyone were asleep, except one guy sitting on an old chair in the ruins. He had something in his hands. Chua walked over to him.
"What's that you got there?" Chua asked.
"Oh, it's just a binochular scope for a hunting rifle I found." He replied
"Hey, I could really use that, are you interested in selling it?" Chua said.
"Sure, for the right price!" He said
" I can give you 3 golden gecko pelts and 250$ for it!" Chua replied
"Sure, I haven't got use for it you can have it." He said
"Thanks!" Chua said and handed in the money and gecko pelts, and recieved the scope and put it on his hunting rifle.

When he came back to the fireplace he saw Arco walking past screaming: "WAKE UP, YOU FRIGGIN' MAGGOTS! WE LEAVE AT SEVEN! DONT BE LATE OR I'LL BRAKE YOUR SPINES!"
Chua got the other recruits up, and took a bite of some of his food. He reloaded the hunting rifle as he walked over the ruins of the Hub, he was ready to leave!

After getting the M2 set up and ready for use, Tenel Ka and Jack went back to sleep.
At oh-six-hundred, the seargent's yelling as well as a noneto gentle kick into his armor made sure he woke up again.
Taking a sip of the radscorp soup he had in one of his flasks while munching on a peice of Jerky, Jack positioned his .50 cal from the shoulder sling and fed the begining of the ammo belt he was wearing into it, ready to walk off at 0700.
Tenel Ka readjusted her pack with the ammo in it, and adjusted the .223 pistol in her holster.

A low pitch rattling sound filled the forrest and several small trees splintered in the mutants trail. The M249 Minimi was making short work of the woodland. A big muscled man stepped forth out of the bushes while continuing to burst into the general direction the mutant had run off into. The man crouched near Thorgrimm and slowly reloaded the light support weapon.

A pity the frag grenade had not taken out the damn mutie, what a waste Mike thought. But apparently it had done some damage to the human, but Mike couldn't care less about that, collateral damage. Closer inspection revealed a lot of wounds and scars, not only from the grenade. Mike watched the mans equipment and quickly noticed this dude had his shit together, he was obviously a veteran. Mike did not steal the wounded mans equipment, only because of the respect he felt for the man taking on the mutants in hand to hand. It would take some serious cohones to do that.

The wounded man started mumbling things about 'mutant armies', 'danger' and 'slaves'. Mike thought it might be best to look after this man instead of hunting down the runaway mutie. The wounded mutie would eventually make his way back to exsert his revenge anyway. Mutants could not live with bruised egos, certainly not concerning hand to hand combat...

Mike drew the wounded man into some brushes, took a closer look at the wounds and made a fire about 10 meters down the trail. When his combatknife was glowing hot, Mike attempted to remove most of the shrapnel. He found some spare medical equipment in the wounded mans backpack and applied them to the best of his abilities.

After having done all he could, Mike went off to loot the dead mutant. Unfortunately all he found was oversized armor and weapons, useless to normal humans, even for someone as strongs as him. Mike was pretty amused when he found the 2 severed fingers lying on the ground. He decided to burn the open extremities and to make it into a little neckless which he put around Thorgrimms neck. A fitting wartrophy.

As night fell Mike took up guard in a bush nearby Thorgrimm. If he wouldn't wake up by dawn he would leave the wounded man behind to fend for himself...

Thor woke with a start, and quickly set up. Then he regretted the sudden movement, as his side began to throb in pain. He reached down to touch the wounded side, and noticed the bandages. That put him on combat alert. He then noticed his gear was placed off to the side out of reach.

He quicky scanned the surroundings, and noticed it had to be about 3 in the morning. As the fire was just about burned out, it was only glowing coals now. He saw nothing in front of him, he then quickly spun to face behind his initial position.

After about 20 seconds his outstanding perception allowed him to notice the deeper shadow in the shadow of the bush.
"You might as well come out, i see your position in the bush". Thor said to the person in the shadows, not knowing if that same person was friend or foe.

A huge muscular man emerged into the faint moonlight and stood there.
"Why did you save me from the mutie"? Thor asked the stranger.
"I didn't save you i was only trying to kill the mutie", the stranger said.
"So you are the one who threw the grenade"?
"Yeah, that was me. Damn shame it did not kill the mutie".
"What about the injuries you caused me, was that on purpose"? Thor asked, preparing to fight if need be. Although he realized that in his condition he did not have a snowballs chance in hell.

"Shit happens buddy, you were in the way. I was tryin to kill the mutie".
With this Thor relaxed, as that was the type of response he would have given. Because of his hatred of the mutants for killing his wife and son. "Fair enough, so why did you keep me from bleeding to death"?

"You have a set of cahones taking on 2 armored muties in hand to hand. I figured you were a vet, and a mutie hater like i am. So i figured you deserved better than to have your bones picked over by scavengers. You were also babbling about mutant armies, danger and slaves. So what is going on?

With that question Thor filled the stranger in on what has happened since Ensenada. Ending with that the last mutie he had fought was not like any he had encountered before. He was faster stronger and most important of all he was SMARTER!

"Will you help me find the Brotherhood to warn them? If this mutie is a new type of mutie, they are the only ones who might have a chance to stop these bastards".

"If that cocksucker was as different as you say, then we have to move, and fast as he WILL be back, so yeah i will help. By the way i'm called Scorpio, or Scorp", then held out his hand.
"My name is Thor", and shook Scorp's hand. "I suggest we get eveything together and get the hell out of here".
They gathered all the gear, and began the trek north in search of the Brotherhood to warn humanity of the new mutant menace.

The dawn arose and with it a new age, an age of warriors and conquest. Today was the day that their real mission began. Arco had gathered up the “troops and began to divide them into groups, 84 men and 8 BOS members to lead. It was clear that they would be divided into groups of approximately twenty with a BOS leader and sub-leader and subgroups of ten with a BOS leader, either the group leader or group sub-leader. Arco began the division putting Tenal Ka, Jack, and Kahgan in the group Lead by Lt. Gorith, and Chua, Rob, and Fenix in Lt. Worf's. The others were part of these groups or part the other two. Arco was in charge of all four groups with Major Max leading the wolves.

Arco was quite pleased with the equipment that was salvaged from the battle yesterday. They had managed to get one microbike running and had managed to get a few hundred fusion cells not to mention the various small arms and ammo. The microbike could be used to scout ahead, for the one who was appointed such a task. Arco appeared to have everything in order when Major Max and the wolves came down.

“Alright you filthy pestilence, we are leaving in five minutes so be ready to leave or be ready to face the barrel of a gun.”

Arco and Max held a brief conference about the best route to take in finding the mutant horde. They both agree that they should take a path about thirty miles inland following the coast at that same distance.

“We move south southwest.”

The group marched out of the town and on to their destinies.

OOC: I will post some more later. I am having a bad case or writer's block this morning.

For the next five days the group continued South. Major Max knew they woudl find little. The Mutants had moved forward and his scouts had come back with little.

If the mutants had planned to exercise a scorched earth policy, there was little that they needed to have burned. The wasteland they crossed was desolate and almost empty. Destroyed villages, ruined crops. Occassionally they would find a last brahma, which they would add to their herd to force to pull one of the carts. On occassion they would find food stores that the mutants had ignored. The few stragglers they found were dazed lucky survivors, these too they added to their force.

But they found something else, tracks. Fresh tracks of mutants. At places they found bandages with the green blood the mutants. The remainder of those that had fought at the Hub, now retreating.

They marched nearly eight hours a day, crossing vast distances, his forces fanned out looking for supplies, stragglers, and any traces of mutants. Ahead, of the main group Max had deployed scouts in groups the size of teams of five.

On the sixth day, a quick message from one of the scouts.

"Command, come in. I think we got one..." ANd then the voice cut off.

In the distance the sound of gunfire, then a thumping sound. Max called to Arco.

When they arrived at the sight they saw two mutants picking through the corpses of a squad. One of the mutants seemed badly bandaged and carried a rocket launcher. The other, wounded but less so, carried a mini-gun. They seemed delighted with themselves as they picked at the loot they had discovered.

Two wounded mutants had wiped out a fire team in moments. Worthy adversaries.

Max addressed his second, "Captain, how would you proceed without losing any more men?"

________

OCC- these are wounded stragglers from the mutant army that fought at the Hub. I would like Albatross to post what he will do before you guys start this fight. Remember these are mutants and very tough. REmember these are damn hard to kill (thorgrimm and suaside- don't make it too easy).

Fenix had been trading with another recruit for a few bullets when he overheard the scouts report.

He stepped closer to the walking commander recieving the report.

Fenix heard Max ask Arco"Captain, How would you proceed without losing any more men?"

He heard Arco reply"Well first of all lets find somebody intelligent to help us with a plan."

Warning bells sounded in Fenix's head.

Smart=Fenix and Help=Work

Work sucked.....Fenix ducked back and took off to find a relatively obscure place in the marching lines.

Arco had reviewed the teachings and wisdoms of Sun Tzu in the days since they had left the hub. The best way to approach this battle was to lure the enemy to the location of their choosing, but first they must observe and learn the measurement of their enemy and their intent. He observed the terrain lay out before him. There were the remnants of a small village about 10 meters from the two mutants that had killed the advanced squad.

“Sir, I believe that it would be prudent to observe the area for awhile. I don’t think that those two are the only ones out there. That city is a perfect place to set up an ambush that would possibly get us all killed. I think we should obverse until we find the measure of their strength and their numbers.”

“Once we know this, we need to get them on our terms. I think that we will need patience here Major. We need to lure them to the location that provides the best defense for us and the least for them.”

Arco scanned the terrain. They were currently on a ridge 25 meters above the ground and about 75 meters to the north of the broken village. The only path down to town left 50 meters of open space between the ridge and the town in which the mutants could easily pick off a large number of the group.

“The best course of action in my opinion is to wait for the mutants to leave and then use the city as cover to take them out once they are out in the open. In the meantime, I feel we must observe their strength and learn of our enemy.”

“Arco, your plan could take some time, are you sure you are willing to take the patience necessary for such a strategy?”

Arco hesitated in answering for it was not in his nature to be patient. Patience was something that one must learn and he was still young and untempered as the hot iron on the anvil. Still the iron could be forged into a sharp blade if given the work.

“Yes, I am.”

“Fine Captain, we will try your strategy.” Max still wanted see what his first officer was made of and this seemed like a fine time to so.

Arco ordered most the men to get some rest and few to help watch the area for the mutant threat. It was around 4 P.M. when they first entered the region. They kept an especially close watch on the town and it proved fruitful. They had spotted at least 18 mutants weaving their way through the town, pillaging it as they went along. Night had fallen and still the mutants remained in the town. Arco and few others took shifts watching the town during the night.

Finally, shortly before dawn, the mutants began to stir and gathering to leave for another place of temporary refuge. They moved south as he had expected. Arco readied Worf and Gorith Company to enact his plan. They waited until the mutants were about 10 meters from the town before leading his men down the narrow path to village. Silence and stealth were stressed by Arco who promised to kill anyone who so much as breathed too loudly. This tactic also required speed and exact timing. Wait to long and mutants would be out of range, to quick that they would be right on top of them in an instant.

They reached the village and Arco divided the group up and place them around various locals. A few snipers were placed on the few standing rooftops, Jack was place in a well protect window with his 50 Cal., and the others were sparsely placed in defensive positions. By the time this was all done the mutants had moved to about 30 meters outside the city. Arco counted 16 lumbering hulks, two short of what they had counted but Arco just assumed that it was a miscount and nothing else.

He ordered the snipers to take their shots on his mark and for everyone else to wait for the mutants to get within 20 meters of city before firing. The battle began with those sniper shots fired in the rising of the sun. Those shots triggered the mutants to charge the town as Arco had expected. Unfortunately, they also awoke five Mutants who had passed out drunk in one of the eastern buildings. Those five mutants could be the deciding factor in this conflict.

OOC: The idea of this strategy is remain in defensive position and not to play heroics. Keep that in mind as well the five mutants that are still in the town that no one knows of yet.

In the second story of a building near the side of toen where the mutants are charging

Fenix slowly took aim at a group of charging mutants and let out a searing ruby beam at kneecap level dropping two of them.

more charged in and ruby light cut into the face of an axe wielding mutant knocking it to the ground.

More shots were fired and injuries racked up on the charging mutants.

He looked out and saw Arco fighting with a supermutant in close combat.........with another coming up behind him.

Fenix aimed at the beasts stomach in an attempt to disembowel it and sent a beam flying. The mutant was hit hard and fell to it's knees holding it's intestines in his hand. One less threat.

Fenix was about to fire again when he heard a creak in the stairs behind him. He froze. The biggest looking mutant he had ever seen(also the drunkest and stupidest) stepped into the room.

"Humie I am gonna skin you alive!!!"

"Wait!!! You want beer?!?!?"

The mutant stopped for a second to consider.

"Come here big fella."

The mutant stupidly obeyed.

Fenix pointed out the window."See that house over there?"

The mutant nodded.

"In it's basement is a whole rack of beer."

The mutant looked at him funny."If you is lying I am gonna come back and find you."

"Would I lie to you?"

The mutant scratched It's head..........."No??"

"Thats right. Now why don't you forget about fighting and go drink all the beer."

The mutant nodded and stalked out of the room.

Fenix blew a long sigh.

A mutant head stuck around the corner and Fenix almost had a heart attack.

"Hey humie I never got your name."

"It is Fenix big fella."

"O......I am Larry.........cya"

The mutant walked off again.

"Jeese...close one."

Fenix took off out of the house to a new more hidden position.

At least he was still alive...for now........

Jack was spraying short bursts into mutants, taking several out, when a plasma rifle blast strick the window sill.
His armor protected him, as well as Tenel Ka, as he wasnt facing the impact point, and he was inbetween her and it, but it still spun him around.
That spin saved his life.
As he spun around, Jack saw two mutants coming up the stairs.
"Um wheres the beer, pinky ?"
Realizing he had a dullard on his hands, Jack thought quick.
"Right here." Jack responded, snatching up his M-79, with a final thought
'Damn Im stupid.'
Jack pulled the triger.
The grenade round penetrated the mutant, and although Jack didnt see, it slipped inbetween two ribs, and struck the spine.
Then it detonated.
The mutant erupted, spraying flesh everyware.
Then Jack heard a click.
Tenel Ka's .223 pistol was jammed.
And with his small frame, Jack couldnt reach his .45 which was hanging on the wall by a nail on the trigger guard.
As the mutant advanced, Jack tossed his empt M-79, knocking his pistol down.
Reating the the action, Tenel Ka droped her weapon, which immediatly went off, slowing the mutant.
Then she had Jacks pistol brought to bear, and it was over.
Tenel Ka fired three quick rounds, penertrating the mutants right eye socket, and bouncing around inside the skull, jusdging from the sound.
Realizing the rest of the mutants had gotten back into the city as he looked out the window again, Jack made a quick decision.
"Lets move out, theyre in the city and we need to hunt them down.

Chua got into the village with the rest of the recruits.
He saw some mutants running out of the village. He was about to count them when Arco ordered some snipers on the remaining rooftops.
Chua thought: " Well, that's me!"
And got up on a rooftop, and lay down beetwen two big holes.
He lay his scoped hunting rifle in his hands, and waited for Arco's command.
"Snipers, FIRE!" Arco commanded.
Chua pulled the trigger, hitting a mutant in his shoulder, dropping his weapon.
In the same second him and the other snipers fired he heard a loud roar to the east.
He saw five mutants rising from sleep.
They looked drunk as they staggered towards the recruits.
Chua drawed his 9 mm mauser and started shooting at the mutants in the village.
He only hit one in his left foot, laughing of the pain.

Kahgan was ordered into a house with a window facing out from the village and a door facing in to the village. Kahgan had heard Arco counting 18, therefore, he blocke d the door, just in case. After blocking the door, he layed his stuff wich he had in a bag, on the floor, so that he was more agile and prepared for the coming fight. Seconds later, the first shot came, and the mutants began to come back, Kahgan decided to wait until they were close, that would make it easier to hit them in a burst. But suddenly someone started rambling on the door, he thought it was a mutant, so he walked about 3 yards in front of the door and the blockings, and waited, still watching out the window. At last the door was smashed, and an horrifying, pissed of drunk mutant came in roaring in, "Heloo" Kahgan said, just before poping the mutant full of led, he got a litle carried away, using all the ammo in the clip, and when he was going to reload, he saw a big, bruised mutant coming in the window, "fuck, I'm gone!" it came from Kahgan, he pulled the bowie and prepared to die with honor. The mutant started swinging the club, hitting several objects in the room, among those, a big closed that was splintered, some of those splints hit Kahgan right in the head, and he passed out.

When he woke up, the mutant was laying dead besides him, with three huge cuts in the back. Kahgan reloaded the UZI, and then in full alert, started examining the wounds, there was no doubt, a deathclaw had been there. Kahgan remembered his great wish, to kill a deathclaw all by his own. But he thought that it would have to whait, "I'm fightin' muties now"...

In the five days that the BoS warparty had moved south by southwest, Mike (Scorp) & Thorgrimm had been moving due north in the hope to meet up with a detachment of the BoS at the Hub. Travel was slow, as Thorgrimm still had a lot of difficulty to move rapidly, but his wounds were already healing faster than expected. Hate can be a wonderful stimulant...

As the two traveled north, little was said, both were not too keen on smalltalk. They both noticed strange things from time to time, as if someone had been following them but noone could be seen. It was certain the mutie still wanted his revenge and was waiting for a suitable moment. He was probably smart enough not to charge a sniper and a support gunner head on, muties are tough, but not that tough.

On the sixth day, sounds of battle could be heard in the wasteland.

"Pick up the pace softy!" Scorp yelled at Thorgrimm as he hurried over the hill in front of them. "I'll show yeh who is soft, wanker! We'll go one on one once i'm healed." yelled Thorgrimm as he ran after Scorp.

From this point of view they could just see the mutants turning back into the ravaged ville. Thorgrimm which had better eyesight counted over a dozen mutants storming back, armed with miniguns, laserrifles, bazookas and various melee weapons. He also spotted a bunch of snipers on the rooftops and a lot of suppressive fire coming from the lower buildings. Obviously, these were humans, and lots of them.

The employed tactic seemed pretty obvious: enrage the mutants and pick off as much as possible before they reach the ville, let them breach the outer perimeter and let them think they are winning, then draw them into a pocket of heavily armed elite troops waiting in ambush in the middle of the ville.

Thorgrimm and Scorp moved in closer and fanned out a bit. They both took cover in the same ditch about 10 meters apart. They were now about 400 meters from the charging mutants. As Thorgrimm slowly took aim through his sniperscope, Scorp unfolded the bipod of his M249 and started to lay down suppressive fire.

The idea was to make the mutants believe retreat would not be possible as another squad of the group they were fighting in the ville had taken op positions on their six. The tactic worked and none of the mutants turned to fight the two, but rather they hastened their pace and frontally hit the ville.

Thorgrimm had wounded some of the mutants where he could, but it seemed like his wounds were making it impossible take precise aim. As for the effectiveness of the suppressing fire little could be said, as it was difficult to identify who got hit by who, with all the fire coming from the ville...

As all living mutants had now entered the town and were wrecking havoc, Thorgrimm and Scorp decided to go into the town and help out. They were nearing the town at a steady but careful pace. The impact of the might of the mutants was now clear. Scorp hoped he was right about the planned strategy of the humans in the ville, if he was wrong, all would already be lost...

Jack and Tenel Ka moved quickly, falling back to the heavy support position that the BOS second had set up.
As soon as they reached the door, they encounterd a mutant with a plasma rifle facing them.
Jack and the mutant fired at the same time.
The mutant missed.
Jacks first shot missed, but he held the trigger down.
The barrel of the .50cal tracked up with recoil, and begain striking the mutant, making a pattern of death on his hide.
Thats when they saw it.
It's orange hide was known even to Jack, and even Tenel Ka feared it.
Deathclaw.
Three mutants headed right for where it was, not seeing it.
Their screams ended as blood splashed around the corner.
"Um...... I.. think..... we..... need.. to.. go.. back....... up.. Tenel Ka."
"This.... is a fact." she replied in a slightly shaving voice."

After a minute or so of recovery, Kahgan ran out of the house, seing mutants about to charge the defences. he saw Jack and Tenel, "Who's firing over there?" He shouted to Jack. "Theres some big hard arse with a machine gun and a guy with a sniper!"'

Kahgan wasn't totally sure about the plan as he didn't listen very well when the orders were given, he liked to improvise. What he did know, was that further back in the village, there was a bunch of the elite BOS soldiers, he shouted to all the recruits "RUN BACK TO CENTER OF THE VILLAGE!"
He knew that if they didnt get help from the BOS soldiers, then lots of recruits would get killed for no purpose.

The mutants looked encouraged by this, increasing their aproach. The other recruits understood after a while, and began to pull back, still firing.

After a stealthy dash through the town Fenix had placed himself in a basement and began firing out of a ground level window.

After two minutes of firing a gruff voice behind him said"Heya Feenics yous found me super well beeeeer. Too bad I gotta skin ya now."

Without thinking Fenix jumped up and began pulling himself through the window. He heard heavy footfalls behind him.

He was all the way out except for his left foot when a powerful grip locked onto his leg and began pulling him back in.He panicked and fired into the hole a continuous beam.

The laser pistol began to overheat, but the grip began to loosen. At the exact moment that the pistol became red hot and Fenix dropped it the mutants grip released.

Fenix drew his derringer and took aim at Larry's head to finish the job when a mutant ran around the corner and leveled a plasma rifle at him.

The bolt seared past his face and reddened his skin, but before the mutant took a second shot Fenix dived around the corner and a fusillade of small arms fire tore the mutant apart.

A massive yell erupted from the basement of the house he was just standing in."I'm gonna get you Fenix!!!"

He ran as fast as he could to the well protected spot where the elite BOS troopers were hidden and ducked behind a wall while his laser pistol cooled.

all he could do was wait and pray..........

As Jack and Tenel Ka looked out of the window of their inital hiding place that they were back in, they saw three large DeathClaws walking down the the road, following a wounded SuperMutant.
The mutant was still firing his SAW at the deathclaws, but the rounds mostly bounced off.
The mutant attempted to take reguge under some storage containers, and the DeathClaws seemed to be concentrating on him.
"Ok, run!"
Jack and Tenel Ka ran, and encouterd Kahgan.
"Who's firing over there?" He shouted to Jack. "Theres some big hard arse with a machine gun and a guy with a sniper!"'
Several minutes later, they made it back to the main BOS position, and set the M2 .50cal up on the tripod.
As Tenel Ka folded out the tripod that was on her back, Jack turned to the Seargent.
"Seargent, there are at least three DeathClaws in the town."
Then Tenel Ka had the tripod secured, and he kneeled down behind the defensive position and the gun, ready for the coming fight.

Arco fought the fierce mutant in hand to hand combat for at least five minutes with out either of them giving yield. No matter, the plan to lure the mutants back into the city’s courtyard seemed to be working. Most of the recruits had performed their job of drawing the mutants to open courtyard in the city’s center by making it look like they were a much smaller group falling back to the courtyard to regroup. Once there to the mutants would be in for a nice surprise from some of the member of Wolf Company. The main mutants force was near the courtyard now. Arco himself had led the mutant he was fight to the courtyard area. Both warriors had taken heavy blows from one another and both were bloody and bruised. Arco even had a small dent in his power armor from the power of the bulking behemoth.

Most of the men had followed Arcos orders to stay in defensive position and to not directly engage the mutants if at all possible. They had downed six of the mutants and severely injured four more the main group. But there were still the five that never left the town and the possibility of a deathclaw wandering about. While the base plan seemed to be working, there were new factors that could decide the outcome of this battle.

The remaining mutants proceed up the streets straying the windows with machine gun fire still proceeding towards the courtyard. Arco turn to the recruits as he led the mutie back to the courtyard.

"What the Fuck were you dumb-asses doing moving around out in the open! You were to remain in defensive positions! Do any of you hard fucks think that you're going to be able to take on a deathclaw or these muties in the open?! Jesus Christ, you fucking idiots stay in your god damned positions unless you want to die!"

Two of the mutants saw the three lightly armored individuals run into a building. They pursued and had them in a hard spot. That was there problem now. They had made the choice to run so openly and they would need to figure a way out of it. Arco concentration was on getting the main force in the courtyard.

The main force was in the courtyard and wolf company was ready to take them out when four new mutants ran around the corner. It wasn't this that concerned Arco but what hunted and followed them, a pack of three deathclaws. The Deathclaws tore into the back of one mutant, tearing the flesh from his body like a piece of tissue paper. The remaining mutants ran for the courtyard where their fellow mutants were waiting. The deathclaws gave pursuit and the battle was now three ways.

OOC: Note: There are only four members of wolf company around the courtyard. Also the deathclaws maybe able use their sense of smell the find those who are hiding in defensive postions.

Chua got down from the roof and ran around a corner.
He sat down and reloaded his mauser. He took the mauser in his belt, and took forth his hunting rifle. He saw around the corner he came from, there was a mutant standing there with a pipe and a wounded recruit lying, screaming on the ground. The mutant beated the recruit several times with his pipe, silencing the recruit. Chua draw his head back from the corner.

Chua took forth his mauser, took a fast look around the corner, and saw now the mutant lying dead over the recruit, with massive, bleeding scars over his back. He also noticed an orange colored tail disappearing around the corner ahead. Chua snuck slowly up to the dead mutant, "These are not knife scars, they are too deep!" Chua thought. He got up to the corner where he had seen the tail. He looked around the corner, and saw a big, orange colored creature, with sharp teeth and some massive horns on its head.

He thought: "This is the creature they told me stories about back in the village! What was it called? Deathclaw, that's it!"
It looked even meaner in real life than when they had descriped it in the village.

He went back from the corner, over to the dead mutant and recruit. He found two more frag grenades and some 9 mm, excactly what he needed. He went back to the corner where he was at first.
Took a deap breath and thought: "Well this is what I signed up for, now I'll have to face it!"
He took a quick look around the other corner, and noticed two mutants running in one of the streets. He threw a frag grenade between them, but they were four metres apart and only fell, and got up.
"Look, a normie!" one of the mutants said.
And both of the mutants started running towards Chua!
