If NMA died...

If NMA died what would you do? Would you try to bring it back? Would you be sad? Would you accept it as the natural order of things? Would you run through the streets like a madman? What forum, if any, would you migrate to if such an awful thing happened? How can such a thing be prevented? Are all good sites destined for the lost archives? I for one would be devastated. I find myself visiting the site daily, often numerous times if I'm bored, and a large gap would be left if NMA was gone. I have been contemplating the safeguarding of this fine community, for some odd reason, and I am curious if others feel the same way.

Discuss.

(Apologies if this has been discussed before)

Then i'll just post stuff on TO, i know you orderites love my posts. I guess a lot of NMA users would do the same.

Go to the Bethesda forums and post there... seem like the same kind of people there anyways.

In all seriousness, though, I'd probably end up at RPGCodex. I posted there in the past, but two forums at once took up too much of my time.

Probably moving over to the Codex. I know of no other alternative.

Someone could always Nuke (PhPNuke) A new site, and get it going.
The community is strong enough where they would all find their way there eventually.

I think I'd be pretty miffed that the best Fallout community disappeared, but everything has to end sometime, and if I got through my last divorce I think I can get through anything.

Go outside? lol

Yeah, I'd be sad. This is probably my favorite forum where I'm a regular. Though, in reality, I'm a relatively new member here, and hardly have some history in this place, but I'd generally miss it, few members especially.

Worst of all, I'd probably abandon Fallout for a bit. Certainly wouldn't be so interested in the franchise.

But, as majority, I'd move to Codex. I sometimes go there these days.
I'd also visit Vault more, miss the editing a bit.

I do like nma but i don't post much here at all. Even less now that i kinda lost interesst in Fallout again. Will be back some day but for now i got other games to play ;)

Personally , I don't have alternative and I don't want it. Here in NMA feel my self realy cool, NMA is my way to be close to Fallout universe . I don't want to lose it . We don't want lose it .

Duck and Cover?

Also, the Codex is no alternative. It is a solution. A solution to a problem which does not exist.

This.

In a way, it would probably be sort of a relief to me, I guess. NMA has always sucked up (lots of) time. If it would disappear, I'd have an extra two hours/week to spend on more important things.

I'm sorry.

Is it all teenage kids on here, or are there guys in there 30s who still enjoy fallout? And if so, are you like those cliche guys who live in your mother's basement? or do you have a wife and kids and everything else
