If you can't reply sensibly, you shouldn't bother.

Playing Gothic 2 now, and despite the archaic graphics, I think they do a lot better job of conveying the world than the segmented animations of Fallout 3.
Third person in all Beth games is unnatural looking and awkward. It's like as if your character is floating above the ground treading water.
Commiered said:Rubbish. Segmented awkward graphics of NPC's are the same whether in FPP or third person. They were two separate paragraphs. Whether Bethesda focuses on first or third person, the character animations are the same shitty ones.
even if the game would be only in first person you still have to see the bad animations on the NPCs. Frankly they dont "slide" sideways ... but still is only mediocre compared to anything else out there. Even Jedi Knight 2 had already the same level of animations ... and that game is pretty old by now. In some cases even surpass it with the well done lightsaber fights.Commiered said:If you can't make decent animation then why insist on making the game FPP? Ironically for Beth it seems that 2D iso sprite based game would actually help their talentless team.

That wasnt my point. You said they don't play well in third person mode... I am saying, no shit they don't because they weren't designed to be played in third person mode.
Yes they use the same sets of bones and animations. From what I remember anyway about reading what some modders wrotte.Public said:...
Dude, First Person or 3rd Person are just perspectives. The perspective doesn't change the NPCs or PCs animations, and I think animations for NPCs and your PC are the same in Fallout 3.

Start trimming your quotes or you're going to get another strike.

(Fallout 3 is fun.)
IMO, the mods need to start taking a harder line with it.

So then we will shut up?
As you say that with that signature you call your own ... well I know its not "blatant" offensive ... but its extremly borderline in my eyes at least.Shattering Fast said:And no, I don't expect anyone to just "shut up"...I just wish such opinions were expressed in the appropriate threads. Cool?
Even if it's only borderline offensive to you...why? Do you feel that your opinion of Fallout 3 makes it a worse or better game in my eyes, or anyone else's? That's what my sig is directed at: not towards any particular person, or group of people, but the idea that this game needs the approval of the original Fallout fanbase to validate its existence. It doesn't I'm sorry.Crni Vuk said:As you say that with that signature you call your own ... well I know its not "blatant" offensive ... but its extremly borderline in my eyes at least.Shattering Fast said:And no, I don't expect anyone to just "shut up"...I just wish such opinions were expressed in the appropriate threads. Fact:
Fallout 3 does not need your approval. I'm sorry.

Towards who is that directed anyway?
