Insane Steam Sale

Picked up the Introversion pack today for $5... I've always been curious about DEFCON and Darwinia, and $5 is a steal.

This sale is costing me a lot of $$$.

Next Wednesday MI2 remake will be available I believe you can now (semi) pre order both of them for a nice price. You can gift the first one if you already have it (clever)
 
Giving everyone a heads up that Alien Swarm, a new Valve game, will be free July 19. Not sure if it will stay free.

It's a top down shooter that used to be an unreal 3 mod, the team was then picked up by Valve and the game remade for commercial release, using Source engine. Could be interesting.

I don't know about ya'll but I'm enjoying the crap out of this game. I haven't played too much of it but so far it's like a very polished old school shooter with a strategic coop element. Definitely recommended.
 
downloading it now, looks like it can be decent enough to waste a few hours on.
 
Heh, maybe we should get around to having a few NMA groups of Alien Swarm going.
Nothing like shooting someone in the back accidently to foster that community feel. :V
 
I'm "aenemic" on there as well. definitely up for a few games, but I'm not gonna be able to play for a few days now since I'm going away. oh, and I tried connecting to a game earlier today but with no success. only tried once though so it might just have been something temporary.
 
Given it a solo testy and it's awesome in a Aliens kinda way. Also you can get a chainsaw. :wiggle:
Will try an online game tommorow.
 
Everyone probably knows this by now but Steam is having some insane deals. I bought 4 games in the last 2 days.

Complete pack of Killing Floor for 6.95

Bully for like 3 bucks and Mass Effect 2 for 9.99.

I'm tempted to get Neverwinter Nights 2 for 9.99 too. Heard bad things about the game though.
 
A lot of the deals they have right now are old ones from earlier in the year... still some good stuff though if you missed it earlier.
