Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hi, been lurking here and on the main site for quite a while now. I bought Fallout way back when because the box looked "pretty cool", the game looked pretty cool aswell until I stepped out of the vault. TOTAL DARKNESS. Toying with the brightness/contrast etc didn't help us out. The game lay there on my shelf for months until my brother decided to "feel his way out" and reached the exit (or is it entrance?) of the cave.

We became instantly hooked.

It wasn't until we bought a new computer (and a new screen) that we received "the gift of vision" in the underground locations of Fallout.

Best.game.ever!
 
I pop in every now and then. I didn't remember I had so few posts.. Oh well, it's not the quantity, but the quality! :D
 
Hi. I've lurked around these boards for years to check in on all things Fallout but never felt like I needed to post any messages and/or requests. Most of the topics seem to cover my thoughts and the search function worked just fine whenever I needed questions answered.

Then I finally noticed this 3-year-old sticky and figured, "why not?" I've been coming here off-and-on for years, so I might as well say hello.

So... hello.

Hello everyone!

I've been a Fallout fan for a long while, and I've lurked this forum from time to time, and I decided to join up. Most of you seem like intelligent and interesting people and I look forward to exchanging verbal spin-kicks with all of you at one point or another.
 
just remember the deathclaw is fond of eating newbies. still, that's not saying you should avoid debating with em (as long as you got a clue and think before you post).

Don't scare the children, duckman. The deathclaw is alright as long as no one shoves their supply of stupid in front of him.

Hey, I mean no harm :D

There would obviously need to be a reason to be mauled by the Deathclaw, and I am just warning them, as some new people have decided that the deathclaw needs a new person to chew on.

Hello all. I've been lurking for a year or so and decided to register. So I'll introduce myself in this proper location, I'll be referred to as Outsider in these here parts. :D

A little background if anyone's interested...

I've never been a big fan of RPGs, except for the Fallout series of course. I think that says a lot about the game when someone who otherwise doesnt care for the genre would consider Fallout to be one of their favorite PC games of all times.

Some of my interests are custom building computers, baseball (watching AND playing), sci-fi, metal music, playing drums, and reading up about Ufology.
