Hello I'm Ivpiter... I'm in most respects a stereotypical geek and when it comes to RPG's I'm a total nerd.

I've played Shadowrun, G.U.R.P.S., D&D, Call of cthulhu , and even a home-brewed RPG system based on GURPS.
On computers from Ultima to Might and Magic to SSI Gold-Box to Oblivion I don't think I've missed a single worthwhile title. As for my personal top-five CRPG's:

1. Fallout
2. Planescape Torment
3. Ultima 7
4. Fallout 2
5. Wasteland

Top 5 FPP-RT rpg(ish) games
1. Deus Ex
2. System Shock 2
3. Ultima Underworld 2
4. TES:3
5. Arx Fatalis

Anyways that I would say is mostly what relevant to this forum about me.

hi! I'm a big fan of this website, and have been for many years, i thought it was about time to hop on and voice my concern for fallout 3.

I've played Fallout 1 and 2 many many times and I still play them now (I started FO2 again a few days ago, my female character has the gigolo perk already and i haven't left the den yet )

I figured since I've been hanging out here more than I originally anticipated I may as well formally introduce myself.

Hell, I'm Brendon. I'm a games journalist (the reason why I came here -- to clarify anything on my Fallout article) and a sports writer for a few newspapers. In the past I've also worked in television, and have done a lot of archaeological work for local state parks (my training was in writing and anthropology).

Let's see...I'm a diehard Raiders and Kings (Sac-town) fan, grew up in LA but now live in the Portland area, and when I'm not busy writing, playing games or watching movies, I love to read. (Just got some new Superman book -- fantastic stuff.)

I posted here before on and off over the last few years (mostly just lurked) so here's my reintroductio

l, I'm 24, Fallout 1&2 are my favorite rpgs ever. My other favorite games are Unjammer Lammy and the Tenchu Series for PS, (except for Fatal Shadows, that one sucked balls)

I'm looking forward to Fallout 3 despite the crap factor. Thats about it.

KQX - Actually we were just in Chicago in June, we played at this dive called Phyllis Musical Inn, it was pretty badass. We'll tour through soon I'm sure.
