Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Just wanted to say hi, my job does not block this web site so I'll be doing some lurking or posting during the day.

What can I say? Big fallout 1&2&Tactics fan, currently doing a lot of mod work for fallout 3.

Been lurking around here for a while but for some reason I haven't been able to register (some email issues I guess), well anyways Silencer set me up with an account.

by the way I'm Kyle.

Inactivity

Hello everyone.

Sorry I have been inactive for the last 1/4 of the year. I just got out of a lengthy divorce, and have finally settled down in one place for more than 2 months. So here I am! Feel free to contact me, and when I get off from work tonight, I will re-join age old discussions.

Just saying hello at last. Been an irregular visitor here for years - I think this was the first site I ever downloaded a mod from.

After playing it Bethesda has finally pushed me into the forum. *Waves at fellow sufferers*

Sig is from a poem by Christopher Smart, written in the madhouse. Just to clarify.

Just found this and decided to say hi. I got Fallout 3 and loved it. After a little bit I bought Fallout 2 and liked it.

Might as well say hello. I've been lurking for quite a while now, and figured now was as good a time as any to actually join. I'm not sure if I'm going to be doing much posting though.

Thought I'd say hi, as a big fallout 1 and 2 fan, I've been working on a rap about it ( inspired by the deckard cain rap blizzard once made I believe) So thought I'd share it with you guys when it's done.

Hey
I'm new here, hope I'll have a great time with you guys. Been loving Fallout since awhile now. I'm not particulary fluent in Enligsh, but I do my best :)

Brand spanking new to NMA forum as a registered individual.

There is no individualism here. There is only the collective hive-like mind designed solely to breed hatred for Fallout 3 and all it stands for.

You will be adapted to better service us. Resistance is futile.

Have a nice day!

Figured I might as well throw a 'hello' in here, considering I've been gone for... What? Nearly two years? I was fairly active when I was here before, but a few little things came up that kind of stopped that. A few little things like a marriage, having a kid, getting divorced, changing jobs twice, changing PC's 6(!!!) times, moving three times, and enrolling in college. Yeah, it's been a busy couple years, lol.

A "Hello, I'm new here" thread? Hell, why not.

I've been playing Fallout for quite some years now, it's propably my favourite piece of both game and science fiction art, and one day I decided that it wouldn't hurt to become part of the on-line community.

Sad thing is, after beating Fallout/Fallout 2/Fallout Tactics numerous times with different characters, reading through the Fallout Bible and Per Jorner's walkthoughs a few times in total and analising the Fallout universe form various angles there isn't really anything new or undiscovered in the Falout Universe between Fallout and Fallout Tactics for me, and it will be ages untill my equipment will be able to run F3. Therefore, although it's nice to introduce Fallout to new players or talk about it with a beggining one (with giving tips and such and feeling the fresh enthusiasm), there not much to talk about with another one knowing everything about the pre-F3 world.

I've been spying the appearing threads from time to time, but didn't found any non-modding and/or non-F3 thread that would be tempting to take part in, giving opportunities to gain a new thought about Fallout. Maybe someday. Mayyybeee...

Still, leaving my tiny "Muro was here" mark in the NMA community.

FALLOUT 3 FOREVER!!!!1111....No? Ok

Hello all. Hoping to pretend like I knew what Fallout was before I played the third one (It was recommended to me once..like 5 years ago..I think) I will let you guys know how that works out.

Was told about this site from the Player's Corner, which is an obscure message board concerning an archaic game to which people still cling desperately...Sounds familiar, right? Anywho, I will be plaguing these boards for a while (or until banned for ease of continued reading) while I "fight the good fight" to get Fallout 1 and 2 up and running properly. I will likely also look into mods, but I need to get the game running first.

See y'all in the funny papers,
Big Dan T AKA Evarin

Hey, new person here, well the first time I ever bought games for the PC was FO1 and Jedi Knight, and I've been playing FO1/2 Tactics ever since. I recently picked up FO3, its ok, but not my cup of nuka.

Question, has this site been up since 2000/2001? I distinctly remember an old fallout forum I made an account for when I was in High School.

I've been lurking on this site since '03/'04, but didn't register until a few weeks ago when I first played Falout 3. :|
Anyway, my name is Noël (aka NFSreloaded) and I live in the Dutch province of Friesland. I've been hooked on the Fallout series since 2003 when I got the Fallout Collection and I esspecially love the games' story/timeline and atmosphere. Fallout 2 is my favorite and part 3 my least favorite (haven't played BoS ). Just ask if you want to know more. :)

NMA has been up since '97 when the first Fallout was released.
