Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Bloody immigrants.

We, the NATIVES! Will control the 5 points and crush the dead-rabbits!

I’m new, obviously, mainly because I somehow missed FO/FO2 when they came out, and I didn’t find out about them until I played…. ah… the 3-thing (trying to avoid sacrilege). Well, I have FO/FO2 now, and I'm quite happy about that.

It’s strange that I missed it, because I always keep a lookout for games that allow women PC’s. I usually like to have at least the opportunity to play female PC’s, mainly because I am a woman.

Anyway, I played the 3-thing for a little while, decided it needed fixing, googled ‘Fallout’, and ran smack into NMA. I lurked, liked, registered, lurked some more, and decided to get my first post in – the coward way. Namely in the ‘hello’ thread.

So, hi there.

Hi. I'm Oerjeke... and... stuff...errr

The first Fallout game I played was FO1. My friend (may he rest in peace :( )borrowed his game to me and at first I thought it was boring and so on. But then I got enlighted and played it more. Fallout 2 was next and I loved it as well. And now, the good ol' retro Fallout games are two of my favourite games of all time =)

Is Oerjeke a word in Dutch? It sounds suspiciously Dutch-y. Also, welcome.
Nope. It might be used in some dialects (if anywhere, probably Fries), but I've never heard it before.

As far as I'm aware it's not a Frisian word either. Oer does mean over in our language, but I've never heard of Oerjeke.

It doesn't mean a thing
It was just one thing I decided to yewl when I was drunk this one time.
Oh, the memories...

Ok, it's a bit late for an introduction, but better be late than never.

The name is Treesnogger.
German. I think my obsession of fallout is a bit over the top, but heh, that's the reason why I registred here over a few years of lurking the forums as a guest.

I'm usually the sound guy, I make ambient soundtracks connected to the whole fallout idea, also discovered how to make soundfiles for the FO/FO2 critters. Then, I like visuals (fotography etc.) which is basically my "job". I do fotography etc. Sooner or later (depends on how lazy I am) I'm going to release a whole package of pictures and soundtracks for everyone to use.

Ehm, jep, hello. :D
