Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Welcome Conan fan! Fallout 1 doesn't really need patching, but there are some mods you might be interested in. Fallout 2 needs patching. For Fallout 2, check out Killap's Fallout 2 Restoration Project. There will be a final release coming (hopefully) soon. It patches the game and completes content that was developed for the game, but never finished. Check out the General Fallout Modding threads.

Hi everyone! I'm Rocky, and I just joined about 10 minutes ago.

I've never joined a forum website before, so I'm really excited to be on one for my favorite series.

However, I'm wondering, is this a forum primarily for the discussion of Fallout 1 and 2, or is it pretty much the whole Fallout series?

As TorontRayne said, the whole series is open for discussion. There are threads for the different games. There are some people (known as unprogressive party poopers) around here, however, who act like they will defend the old games with their last breath against the incursions of Bethesda. As long as you understand that you'll be fine.

Hey, I'm Cheburashka. I first found this site almost 10 years ago from Per's guide, but then I read up about it here and was too intimidated to join. :P Then I just kinda forgot about it...

I'm really not any less now intimidated but I decided to join anyway :lol:

Anyway, I'm a huge Fallout fan (I suppose that goes without saying), and Fallout 2 has been my favorite game since I've even had a favorite game. Other favorites are Earthbound, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV and VI.

For music, I like metal, namely pagan, folk, and black metal.

So, uh... hey everyone :P

You and I have a lot in common. Any person that mentions Earthbound and Fallout 2 automatically gets +50 cool points. Don't be intimidated by NMA though. Just stay clear of the Order if you have delicate sensibilities.

Hello I'm that guy plagued with a lame portal reference for a name....

My friend showed me this site a few years ago when I bought Fallout 1 & 2 I used it to download some patches but never signed up.

So yeah...Hi.
