Hello fellow wastelanders! I joined last month because I was looking for a Fallout forum that wasn't on 4chan. I own all of the fallouts and have beat all except 2, tactics, and BoS. See you out in the wastes!

Hello, my username is Ediros and I have been lurking here for a month before I managed to activate the account.

In any event, I came here because I was looking for people that are not mindless drones, who praise Bethesda and Farcryout 4.

I hope, that we will get along.

Hey guys. After a long time without playing the classic Fallouts, I returned here to check out possible new versions of common patches. Over the years I've been lurking around quite regularly and finally decided to join today.

So, yeah, videogames are my biggest hobby and I'm one of those gamers that are mostly interested in story and the lore of videogames. It's a form of escapism, I guess. I also live in a country known for it's rich chocolate fields.

Hello people! I stumbled upon this website, as many probably did, while searching for the classic Fallouts patches. I was, also as many, introduced to the series by Bethesda's Fallout 3, however I discovered how much I loved the series with New Vegas. I bought and played Fallout 1&2 the very same year New Vegas came out and I haven't been able to turn back since.

I started lurking the site again about a week ago, mainly because sometimes I remember how bad Fallout 4 is and I get a bit sad for the future of the series, so I decided to check one of the most notable comunities; NMA, and boy what a joy when I found all of you tearing apart without mercy that 60$ piece of disappointment.

Anyway, after checking the forums and seeing all of you as a fine community with critical thinking and love for good RPG's and videogames I thought about joining in.

Cheers!

Hello, finally joined this site and figured this was the best place to discuss obsessive lore inconsistencies and hangups with people who have a really deep knowledge base about these games.

I was first exposed to the franchise in fallout 3 and loved the general alternative history setting and lore though silly as it was in many ways. I then played New Vegas and was drawn in even more by the really amazing level of faction motivation and world building on the west coast. I tried out the older games a couple of years ago and fell in love with fallout 1 but found fallout 2 to be very confusing and never ended up finishing it. I like fallout 4 a lot for many of its overall improvements to 3 mechanically but its the best example of a game that is good but really easy to talk shit about IMO... so there is that. lol

Hello, i am Polynoid, and i'm a wastelander.

My first Fallout was F1, when i discovered i can't shoot mutated rats in real-time like in Diablo and then started to love the Action Points and the irradiated glory of Fallout lore.
From all the games, i haven't managed yet to play the BoS hack'n'slash and VanBuren demo - right now i'm playing Fallout 4, taking the break from GTA Online.

Nice to meet you all!

Hello, I know my first post isn't in this thread but, I'm obliged to do introduce myself here.

My internet name is Black Angel. My first Fallout game was Fallout 3, which somewhat gave me an impression of what a 'Fallout game' is. And then I played New Vegas, and was surprised by an overall changes in tone and, well, nearly everything! What I know of NV back then was only the improved animation, addition of ironsights, hell, improved everything. And then I noticed just how much stuff you can do, and how much the way you can do anything. So I do my research on Fallout 1 and 2, and was really surprised they were top down-isometric-turn based games and the fact it was released so long ago. I also do my research on the story and the lore, and was captivated by them. I want to play them, but kind of afraid I might not like them because of how they looked so dated and cRPG was actually a genre I've only heard of when researching the original Fallout (!). Thankfully, Underrail was released around the time of my dilemma, so I bought that instead and have myself kicked out of my comfort zone. After Underrail, I immediately go for the original Fallout and I really love them now.

Really glad to be a part of this community, y'all!

Underrail can eh? Same here, love that game and the original Fallouts. Welcome aboard to our wonderful cynical community. :)

Hello, I'm new to NMA & wanted to greet everyone before I start posting etc. Until recently, I was a member of Bethsoft's forum where I got a lot of flak for criticizing FO4 and Bethesda's " vision ".

So, after being compared to those fanatics at NMA several times I decided to defect & see what it's like in this community.

I am DoomsdayPrepper and I prep for doomsday and play Fallout.

My first game was Fallout 3, then F:NV, and then I played Fallout 1 and 2.
Also played some Fallout BOS. I played a shooter looter/ sort of RPG called Fallout 4.

I'm R.Graves and i began with fallout 3 and loved it. Upon playing NV and 1&2 i've become retroactively disappointed in 3 and become incapable of enjoying 4. :-(
