Yeah, it's hard to learn. But hey, if you manage, you can write reeeeaaaally long-ass sentences.
This may be true but I would like to point out that, if the necessary willpower is mustered, it is equally possible to write long-ass sentences in the English language although I am willing to admit that the English language lends itself to expressing oneself in a more more compact manner than it is common in the German language which is prone to the use of sub-phrases to elaborate or constrain the main phrase or previous sub-phrases or connect two phrases if a contextual link is meant to be emphasized through a grammatical link whereas in the English language one or even more new sentences referring to the previous one is more commonly used in these cases.
This paragraph would of course be considered a rather simple sentence in German.

Greeting everyone! By the way alec, did you just welcome Briosefreak? :eyebrow:
Hmm, I think you forgot Ugly Jane, she'll feel left out... or something. WTF.

If you could read German, I'd come up with some killer comeback. :P

Of course Alec welcomed Briosefreak, who do you think he was talking about when he said "Most of you won't last a month. " Or for that matter; Jeebus, Wooz66, Ellyssar, or Mulkavian (his spelling, not mine).
