"Isometric turn-based games cannot have good graphics"

There is that whole thing with Inxile trademarking Van Buren, maybe you'll get your isometric Fallout with good graphics.

Wait they trademarked fallout van burden or just the name van burden? What is meant by this?

They trademarked just 'Van Buren'. In case you don't know, Black Isle was working on an isometric Fallout 3 - codenamed Van Buren - before they were shut down, since then their Fallout 3 has been popularly called Van Buren, so Inxile trademarking Van Buren likely means that they're working on a spiritual successor to Fallout.

Uffff did not know chris was actually interested on the Van Buren rights...that would be awesome. I recently created a post checking if anyone knew information about a possible isometric Fallout coming in a near or long future after checking these images:

I would give much to play a New fallout game such as this. I prefer it, to the current fallout 4 all the way! I know it depends on each person but..i never felt more inmersed into a game than the oldies like Diablo or fallout or commandos or baldurs gate. Those isometric games were fantastic. The level of details of every single piece of art.

I played original sin though it did not feel like a baldurs gate so kind of bored out on that one (specially when i came to the part where *SPOILER ALERT * ...... the dragon just kills every party member . Might give a try to Torment: Tides of nimeria. I am just a fan of those games.

I just can't wait for a new isometric fallout game. They could even get the original fallout artist..i think he was working with STASIS if i am not mistaken.
