Ben Roethlisberger: best tackling dummy in the league?
Friggin' slug. No wonder Holmes smokes blunts, it helps him slow down his timing to sync up with head injury Harry. Gary Busey came out of his motorcycle accident more coherent than Big Ben.

Wow. That's the first time I've heard anyone call Big Ben slow or easy to tackle this year. He's a leading NFL MVP candidate, essentially carrying his team on his shoulders.

Not his fault his O-Line is pure shit.

I'm speaking from a purely fantasy standpoint here. And I think I heard he's the 2nd most sacked QB in the league. His QB rating was 33 last week. I'm benching him for noodle-arm Pennington this week. At least he's consistantly average.

Otherwise, I'd give him his due, he's an efficient game manager with a nifty piece of hardware. But even then his numbers are pedestrian.

God damn it's lonely here at the top all by myself. :gloat:

@DB - Starting Flacco? Are you sabotaging your own team?

Ummm, I won with Flacco starting - he was my third string QB with Romo on IR and whatshisname on a bye week.

Man, do youz guyz even realize how close our playoff race looks to be? We're heading into the final week of the fantasy reg season now and no one has ensured himself of playoff berth yet, which is pretty unusual. Current standings:

1. The Simpletons 9-4-0 1567.17
2. None Is The Pigskin 8-5-0 1659.78
3. DammitMilkers 8-5-0 .615 1561.84
4. Sanders Levellers 8-5-0 .1506.06
5. Roche Clippers 8-5-0 1432.44
6. Elastical Gomez 7-6-0 .1462.16
7. Imalumberjackandimok 7-6-0 1325.93
8. The Punisher 5-8-0 1116.15
9. Ronstoppable 4-9-0 1240.92
10. Teh Masterers 1-12-0 .1087.88

Ok, so Maphusi, Nexus6 and rcorporon are definitely out. Twinkie and el Prez are two surprise low-chance candidates considering how well they played all year, but I don't like their odds. Of the top 5, only me and DB face each other and the rest look to have easy wins, meanin Twinkie and el Prez (who face each other) probably won't beat their record.

SimpleMinded probably is in even if he loses thanks to being the second-highest scoring team in the league - even if he loses he'll probably vault in on points.

Mike and Cimmerian are looking at doable wins so I like their chances.

The remaining playoff spot will go to me or DB depending who wins the matchup.

Ok maybe the race is not as close as I put it. Still, anything can happen!

After last week where there was a ton of tumult in the performances, I'm expecting anything this week.

You're not kidding on the results, I'm excited to see what happens.

O owtch. Classic fantasy football. Who'd have thunk a middling passing offense in bad form would light it up against one of the league's best pass Ds?

Typical FF.

Time to separate the men from the boys, muthafuckahs.

Yeah, gets dodgy this time of year when you have:
teams playing for their life
teams who already clinched and take it easy
teams already checking out and booking tee times
Especially with parity and all, some teams are so schizophrenic, you never know who's going to show up.
