No I wasn't. If you actually read my post and had a brain (obviously not the case for you), you'd note I left one play-off spot on the assumption that Mike and Cimmerian would win. Cimmerian didn't, so I pumped into his spot.

Kinda weird to be left in the play-offs on the tail-end of a 3-game losing streak, but whatevz.

That's it for the regular season, kids. It's now me, Mike, SimpleMinded and DB in the play-offs, we'll see who ends up on top (not DB)

Unfortunately I got lucky when I played Roche and None in my last faceoff so unless luck strikes again, I'll have to face the music that my record's inflated :).

I need wide receivers :(.

He's right, I should've won. Against an absentee owner with an open roster spot on D. I was winning on Sunday night.

All I needed was TBs defense to not lay an egg. Mind you, this is the team that allowed 1 rushing TD all year.
Lay down Motherfuckers allowed 300 yds rushing and 4 rushing TDs. Fuck me.

Looks like the point fairies shovelled me out of the play-offs, guys. Stat shuffles made Roche a .24 point winner and puts him in the playoffs, and me out.

Sucks, but that's how it works sometimes. DB, Roche, Mike and SimpleMinded for the play-offs.

Yeah that's, weird, I had lost by like .40. Kind of b.s. how it calculates stuff like that a few days after the fact.

Simpleminded will probably roll me up and smoke me anyway. His O is going against some pretty soft Ds this week - DET, SD, KC.
 
I dunno. I've won games by point fairy-ache before so while it sucks I can't complain.

What happens is: Yahoo! takes over the stats live (from NFL ticker I guess), correct those 2 hours after the game, but 2 days later the NFL corrects its official stats, and Yahoo! copies those. A tackle more or less or a yard here and there and a close L becomes a close W.

Here are the corrections. Looks like a lost fumble from AP was overruled so you got those points (1.5 pts I think) back, and he got 3 yards (.15 pts) as well. And that's a W.

Kinda weird to be out as the top-scoring team, but deservedly so with a 3-game losing streak. Ah well, it's consolation matchups for me.
 
At least you can still point out that you had the points lead. ;) I'd give you my spot if I could, I just wanted to make a respectable showing, not win anything for Sander! :P

Heh, I have a feeling Sander will be getting the FF crown.

Easiest FF crown ever.

To be honest I undersold this league from day 1, and focused way too much on my other league, leaving in underperforming kickers, DEFs and D players way too much. So I got what was coming to me.

Man, this year has been a pain on my Yahoo! fantasy rating. No playoffs in one league, kept forgetting to set my pick 'em lines in another. Oh well.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that you lost to me and I knocked you out of the playoffs. That's consolation enough for me... :mrgreen:
 
Aye, I got my ass kicked in the playoffs in my other league so I was thinking at least I would have this one to take. Then you went and demolished me cimmerian lol.

I left 30 more points on the bench and still won. It's possible I could win the title next week, if I can just throw in the right players.

I'll probably screw it up though. All my double digit players on the bench this week will probably choke next week...
 
So it's Cimmerian and DB in the finale, which in some sense is ironic because - as I remarked right when DB joined, back on page 2 - DB isn't even an NMAer

Regardless, it's the kind of finals you want to see in fantasy football because these are the two managers that managed most: 93 and 71 moves to their name respectively. The next one on the list is Twinkie with 44 moves. Most effort => championship spot

I tried to coast on my draft way, way too much.
