I checked the folder and b21lbman.msg, b21lman2.msg, and b21woman.msg are included. B21 also.

I don't understand

How do i get an US version?
Can it be patched or do i have a US CD?

Neither do I. There is no reason then why they should not say something to you.
 
If install all again then it will take a long while to check it again :(

I unpacked those zip files again and do it all over again.

Those Vault City Guards in Combat Armor MRII say something, the one at the door is conversating with me.

Will see what happen. Do a quick run.
The NPG in the basement don't react.
 
Vault 14 Karma dropping bug

The bug I have encountered has already been mentioned, but no solution was indicated. Entering the Vault 14 map causes karma to drop to zero. I have the full install and the newest version of Megamod. My character is a near-endgame do-gooder, with Karma well over 2000. Karma drop happens regardless of who I have in the party with me.

Yeah, I never did find a solution to why others were experiencing that bug. I was not able to reproduce it then, and I have made certain changes to my existing game that none of my old saves will work anymore. Perhaps I included a bad file in the last batch...one that wasn't altered to fit in with the rest of my changes. I can't think of any other reason why this was happening.

I just did a new install, new game, new character all pro files read-only

SF Tanker run and back :(
First wenn deliver a Gauss i get 500 XP, noticed it because i level up, i had 610 XP :D
Not displayed in text screen.

I run to B21, have dialog with the guard but Sniper still .223 FMJ.

b21lbman.msg, b21lman2.msg, and b21woman.msg are included.

Also the same problem with Mr Fixit.

Do you have an answer on this?
Are there other UK users, maybe this causing the problems.

Will this causing more problems otherwise i play on with the old savegame, NO Sniper Rifle :(

More than 1000 .223 FMJ bullits. I assume some off them were other bullits.

I'm downloading a version from btjunkie, i hope it will be the US version. No fun :(

Yeah, it will disappear there, Bunker 21, and the truck locations, I believe. Those areas did not have code to create the car for you if you had it when you entered those sites. Sorry, but you'll just have to go on foot to those locations.

Hey MIB88, when I get a free moment, I can probably fix that issue for you. Shouldn't be too difficult to add that code in. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Still happens to me, is it already fixed?
 
This has been corrected in the latest version for the truck, postman, and Salvatore encounters. I have not fixed this for the Abbey yet. I don't remember if it has been fixed for Bunker 21 and will have to check this.

Also, for you and everyone else, I found a file that was misplaced. There is a file in the scripts folder called B21.map. Place this folder in the correct location (the maps folder) and certain problems at Bunker 21 will be corrected. You must load a game that you have from before you visited the Bunker the first time for the fixes to take effect.

Place B21.map from scripts to maps. Already a B21.map in the folder, so i overwritten it.

Well i visite B21: go with the car is possible.

I think the problem is not in B21.map, because he already was in folder "maps", it's something else.

The issue with the sniper rifle WAS a map issue. That map had the old version of the sniper rifle with the wrong ammo. This has been corrected for the next release. You can still use it after it runs out of ammo, but you need to use 7.62 ammo.

I don't know why the game crashed. There is no reason why you can't kill them. Is this reproducible, or was it just once? Also, were you still in combat when you left the map?

Ok, i have some 7.62 mm and can relaod the Sniper Rifle.

About "Game Over", it's happens every time. I even try to shoot him unconsious and quick leave the map, but still "Game Over".
I can reload the savegame, as long i don't shoot there's no problem.

It's not possible as female character (CH 10 & Cult of Personality) to get married with Miria :(
I never had her in my party, so i tried the Cult of Personlity Perk.
Well...

I tried to get married with Davin but it ends in the church totaly black with only 5 red flickering lights (crash). I heard the door closing and music keeps playing, else nothing happend.

About the Cult of Personality Perk: does it also means infinity party members?

I tried to see how the Enclave Patrol reacts. Well they just shoot at me, hmmm. So what's a good reason to take this perk?

I returned the Nixon doll, cured Charlie, freed the indentured servant by lying about disease, bought the plow, got Cassidy to join me, agreed to scout Gecko and find the raiders, accepted the suitcase for Bishop, got books at info center, accepted quest to bring booze to bar, gave tools to Val, traded in courtyard and in two lesser shops in inner city, bought fake citizenship papers, extorted money from Skeev and then turned him in. I also lockpicked containers in welcome center at night and the container in the day pass building.

I did not enter Ed's shack, did not enter Autodoc building, did not enter town hall (Lynette's building), did not talk to hoity toity bartender near town hall (although I did take stuff from his back room),

My karma is 197 when Sulik rejects me.

Really odd thing is that I decided to kill Klint to see what happened. So, Klint, Cassidy and Sulik and I are all at the VC gates. None of them are currently in my party. When I attack Klint, Cassidy joins me in the fight. Sulik doesn't join the fight. After Klint is dead, I exit combat. Cassidy goes back to waiting. I talk to Sulik, and I get the same dialogue options as when you first pay his debt in Klamath. And, at the end of dialogue, he joins me again no problem.

More info for the weirdness.

I played F2 a 1001 times, never get enought off it :D

Very annoying.


Tip for people with a very/very fast PC.

I did it a lot with previous versions wenn playing F2.

Use Taskmanager - Processes - Set Priority (Fallout.exe) Below Normal or Low.
So you have more random encounters :D

It crashes because it is a bug! There is a problem with the integration of Enhanced Miria, Enhanced Davin, and Modoc Revisited which changes the map.
 
i am having trouble leaving the temple of trials- as in i can't, and the game crashes out right after passing the quiz and my PC still wont register the fork as a usable item. i can put it in slot one or two, but not equip it.
i'm running megamod over a fresh install of us version fallout, unpatched (except for megamod)

The issue with the fork is addressed in this thread.

And when does the crash occur? As soon as the question is answered? When the guard runs away?
I guess it doesn't matter, as it is something unique to your game only. Readme files...they are your friends. Read the tips for installation. Then try again if this is a repeating error.
 
inventory editor problem?

Hi there, I just embarked on my annual (sometimes biannual) playthrough of FO2. This time i thought i'd try modding the hell out of it, but (not unexpectedly) i've run into some problems right out of the gate.

I installed the latest version of MegaMod (2.0, then 2.1 over it, then 2.1.1 over that). Started playing and discovered i had no spear (!). So i used vers. 1 of falche to up my steal skill and i stole the spear from the nearby villager. Then i went into the cave and got my ass kicked by a scorpion because my spear did next to no damage. Sooo...i installed Borg Locutus's inventory editor to change my spear into a 14mm pistol. However, every time i try to equip the pistol, my character disappears, and if i try to change maps the game crashes. Reading through the readmes for MegaMod it seems that Silencer used inventory editor when putting his piece of work together. So, has something changed in his mod since then? Am i possibly using a different inventory mod? (It's the only one i saw under FO2 mods actually called "inventory editor") Am I just a doofus?

Sorry if this problem has been addressed, but i was unable to find an answer using search. Thanks! I'm really looking forward to trying this mod out!

Can I use .45acps's weapon mod in conjunction with MegaMod?

I think MIB88 has reiterated the fact that he doesn't care if editors or cheats are incompatible with the mod, not his concern...
