Since it was recently my 30th birthday an anonymous source decided to give me some gifts, without further ado:

We also got a avi file of the power armour for you guys to see, so get on over and download it here.
Thanks!

Hmm....
Interesting stuff. The Power Armor looks a bit too shiny, and the screen looks Fallout-y, but with poor graphics. Nice concept of being able to repair a Vault, though.

Judging by the interface they would've also given you a lot more control over your teammates. I'm not entirely certain whether I like that.

As for Junktown: they got Junktown down, alright.

I don't really like the power armour design. Oh well. This is sad, while good. I'm not really sure. Thanks for the pics, anonymous source!

*edit*

The idea of having been able to control your teammates somewhat isn't inherently bad. At least there wouldn't have been a lot of loading due to teamkilling.

happy bday old man :p

i like the drawing, but dont like the rest.

ok the screenshot is but a techdemo, but the powerarmor is missing the powersource. or maybe it's there but i dont think it's looking good... they replaced it with that funny looking wheel thingy.

Thanks SuAside, and as he said remember that this screenshot is from a tech demo and not the final product and thus the graphics will be a little worse then the final product.

Ditto on the happy b-day, pops.

One year closer to the grave. Enjoy life while you can! :)

Cool pics, I admit the PA was a little too shiny, but then this was just a model, and I doubt it was actually in game.

Good stuff, glad we got a source that likes us!

It is quite close to the original Fallout design, though it looks more like it's actual human proportions, whereas the Fallout power armour made you a had taller (not Mk II, note, that one just raised your shoulders to hair-height).

I like the cooling fan on the back

I have no idea what those things on the knees could be for, or what the hell they are

Huh, maybe some got of magnetic attachment point for a vehicle?

I could see this thing wrapped over a motorcyle or something...

To me it seems like they are working with a version of the FO:T engine, maybe that is the reason, or maybe a quick way to check on differerent char types during dev...... Hopefully they will remove the squad control....

They are stiky pads for climbing buildings :)

Cool images though, looks cool how you could repair the hover/security robot.

The interface looked similar to FOT in that each character would have their own tab to click onto, but they may have only been for viewing the characters stats and equiping their items, the player coudl still have been AI controled

To me it seems like you have no idea this game will NEVER be completed!

Anyway, it is indeed interesting stuff there, but I don't like the graphics either... however I didn't liked the graphics in any of the VB shots I've seen and that main menu was horrible to say the least. (Yeah, yeah, I know it wasn't finished... )
Heck, nothing can bring back the feel of the original FO graphics...

But hey, it would have probably been a great game even so... too bad it "turned" into FO:POS.

The interface was a temp thing Sawyer made reusing stuff from FOT, he already said so once here.

I like the eyebot thingie 8)

happy bday odin, i wish people did that for MY birthday. O and in the screen shot photo... are the AP out of wack or was the system completely reworked? 15 AP seems like a lot to use a weapon...

The PA is scrawny at best... thin... Not masculine... Maybe it's the female version?

Oh, wait. No "teh b00bies".

No, it was raised a lot. The combat system sounded really weird to me. It was supposed to be a weird paused real time, as I understood the example.

It would be primarly TB Dove, you`re mixing things. In the techdemo everything was still real time, but the fact you could fix things and stuff seems cool, as the weapon, i think it`s the new Flamethrower.

The weapon seems to have a small red-stripe gascanister stuck under it, not to mention its shape roughly makes sense.

Those're some ugly-ass weapons, though ;)

Real time = teh sux
