most used weapon

FO1: don't remember too well, think it was a shotgun. Maybe a combat shotgun.

FO2: Gauss Rifle

FOT: Sniper Rifle

BOS: Red Ryder BB Gun

FO1: Gatling laser (The one and only :)

F02: Tommy Gun (True classic, and enough power to get some blood 'n stuff out of the enemies)

FOT: "Exit the game" button.

Hmm. I'm here and have some time...
---
Fallout: 10mm SMG until I got an Assault Rifle (why do so many people seem to like the Combat Shotgun? The AR is better in every way), which I used until finding or buying a Plasma Rifle. Once I got the Gatling Laser, I switched between it and the Turbo Plasma Rifle depending on the situation.
---
Fallout 2: God, there's so much crap in this game that the weapon progression's almost never the same. The only constants are Pipe Rifle to Shotgun at the beginning, and Gauss Rifle/YK42b Pulse Rifle at the end (Vindicator Minigun if I've been cheesing). The Bozar is lame, so I don't use it.
---
FOT: Raiders- MP5 until AK47.
Beastlords- AK47 mostly, Neostead Combat Shotgun for grinding up the Sheepclaws and larger Cockroaches.
Super Mutants- M249. Sometimes the Neostead against the Metal-armored ones toting Browning M2s.
Reavers- M249.
Coldwater "Brotherhood": M249 mostly, Plasma Rifle against the ones in Power Armor.
Robots- M249 until Plasma Rifle, Plasma Rifle until Pulse Rifle Prototype, PRP until Gatling Laser (or YK42b to make the last few levels a bit more challenging).

That's when playing FOT with one character on Iron Man. When playing a full-sized party I just tend to use whatever I have the most ammunition for. Meaning everyone tends to have 7.62mm-based weapons in the first half of the game and Micro Fusion Cell-based ones in the second half.

I don't use the Browning M2 or Gauss Minigun at all for the same reason as the Bozar.
---

So, er, yeah. I guess I could be the person who wrote the "Guns and Bullets" magazines in F1/2.

Gauss pistol in F2. 6 shots per turn with sniper = 6 kills. Boring as hell (or boring as bozar -_-).

Mega power fist solves - at least it's fun ^^

Fallout - 10mm H&K MP9 SMG... It's H&K... and - It's a SMG. and 10mm ammo is abundant

Fallout 2 - .44 Desert Eagle - Can't go wrong, with a .44 Simi-automatic pistol.

Fallout : Tactics - Tiger Claws. Schwah!

Speech skill. Best weapon ever.

'nuff said.
And therein lies the beauty of Fallout, when that answer is perfectly legitimate.

I usually went pistol to SMG to AR then to turbo plasma rifle in Fo1.
For Fo2 it was 10mm pistol, 357 revolver, sniper rifle, gauss pistol.
Tactics it was all heavy weapons for single character Iron Man.

In FO1 it was Alien Blaster and in FO2 Gauss
But my favourite is still Solar Scorcher (although I rarely managed to find it) :)

Weapons most used..

Fallout 1: Played it once, didn't like it because being able to loot armor made the game to easy to god mode.

Fallout 2: Plasma Grenades/Gauss Pistol Or Plasma Grenades/Super Sledge. As stated before, for the Gauss Pistol, better ROF. I use plasma grenades every encounter except with Enclave troopers because I can deal triple digit damage to four people in one go. Then throw a few more. If you use the Fast Shot trait and Bonus Rate of fire you wind up being able to throw 5 grenades per turn (assuming you have 10 AP). Plus you can get them for free.

Supersledge for when someone charges you and you have to knock them back. Sends them flying and they waste AP running back to you and standing up. Or you can 'nade them while still on the ground.

FOT: Hated it.

Fallout 1 ... combat shotgun and .223
Fallout 2 ... Mega Power Fist if playing slayer or Sniper Rifle/Gaus Rifle if playing sniper
FOT ... Sniper as soon as I get it, and before then AK47 from the locker in mission 2. Later in the game Gauss Rifles even for the robots, my team members with big guns or hand to hand skill help me out with big guns and power fists etc. I just take out their eyes.

use the edit button, and He would obviously have his hired goons to deal with enclave. Well, actually, they would be his unpaid goons.

Do the enclave patrols just laugh at your jokes, exchange friendship bands and walk away?
you do realise there is only 1 enclave soldier you actually have to fight, jedandjess. being good ol' franky & even then you don't have to by normal means.

not even needed if he doesnt want to.

I like to play around with different weapons with different characters,so i can't really say i have a favorite.

In my current game though i'm finding the .44 magnum revolver and x20 scoped colt hunting rifle a fun combination.

Playing FO2.

Favourite weapon has to be the Browning M2 from Tactics with DU rounds.

Nothing says I love you more or handling a situation with style than sending hired goons. It's a personal touch thing.

Got Ghoulish lately??

FO1:Alien Blaster since it pissed off my roommate to no end that I always found it and he never did
FO2: Tie between H&K P90c and Bozar, both exploderific

Ive done lots chars but most kickass build was martial artist. Mega Power fist 190% unarmed = best action based character you can make...
