The key to Trump's appeal for many seems to be that America really does seem to have a bunch of people with no shame about racism and hatred of other cultures. There's no White Guilt going on because they're the kind of guys who really think we did a good job with the Natives and Blacks. :bleah:

I think that is something which should be protested and I have. Albeit, it makes sense in Iran and I give them a pass because Israel's government attempted to force Obama into war in the past two years.

THis bann is just one link of a very long chain of rhetoric and steps that you could even trace very far back, but most probably the real thing started with 2001, right after 9/11. And from that point on, it was a steady way down, and it doesn't matter what either Bush or OBama did, it was for some people simply never enough. Even this 'Muslim Ban' is not going for enough, and that from people that are currently advisors to Trump. I mean you had people OPENLY refering to the internment camps of WW2 for the japanese americans. And we are just at the second week of the Presidency. What can we expect for the next 100 days? For the next 4 years? Far fetched? Imagine if something like 9/11 happens again, or maybe even something worse, the US getting to war with Iran or maybe two or tree muslim nations at the same time. What would they do at the 'home front'?

This post is....incredibly ignorant. I think you're entitled to whatever opinions you have and that's kind of the problem.

1. No one is imposing Islam on anyone unless you believe the EXISTENCE of Islam imposes itself on people.
2. Entitled Leftism is kind of a dumb idea since it generally is about the people who have shit. When rich people support it, it's great but then the Right is GLEEFULLY more entitled.
3. I'm a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES so I can speak on my sovereign state due to it being a democracy.

As for what happens in your country, I generally believe freedom of worship should exist everywhere--Muslim nation or Christian or secular.
 
As I have pointed out here before, in the SW U.S., we have government forms, public signs, you name it in English and Spanish. Again, as I have pointed out, the English makes sense but WTF with Spanish?? Why do the hispanic folks get preferential treatment?

And, to be honest, is it so hard to believe that the more illegal immigrants that we get into this country, the more pressure and the bigger voice they will have on local politics? If we take all the ideology away, isn't it just strength in numbers at the end of the day? The more illegals we have, the more sway they have over bleeding heart liberals.
