New animations 2

I see you have understood what i am mean. I am using the same method. The difference i laod a "self made" background that is bigger that all the other frames, so PS no more making trouble with the offsets. But this method is not 100 % accurate (you have to lead/select the new background first) and some frames still have to be ajust manual.

So i think we really need a little script doing the work. As i said/wrote before, i t is actual not a big deal to code that. So if someone here out who can the PS Script syntax, just feel free to PM me.

A PS function that would prevent the altering of the frames original sizes while loading them into layers would be ideal and make the method time-worthy for working on less then 3 layers.

Isn't it possible in Gimp? When I remember correctly, it should be even default there - because it has driven me crazy when I used it the last time (you always have to manually set the new size for each layer).

hope you like it, cause its ALL AUTOMADED PROCESS.

maybe a little bit, but that actual the original BIS color.

edit:
ok guys, so here we go

the hole day today (^^) i have deal with JavaScript and photoshop.

the result, is an option that i always miss by working with frames.

now it is possibly to save via script the frames per hotkeys. So no more annoying photoshop dialog where you have change to bmp and delete the copy name when working with layers. It saves REALLY a lot of time. The script saves the edited files in a subfolder and close automatically (for work on next frame) without saving original.

i will release the hole shit with a little video tutorial and some other useful script for fallout critter editing.

NOW i would make a function to load frames to layers. But there is one problem as i think. when one layer si bigger then other, then it is not fit anymore. There is no chance to have diffrent big layers in PS as i know? Or i am on a wrong way?

What i think we need is something like this.

A bigger background then all other frames, and then center the images, cause the more background is no problem for frameanimator, and with this method there is no offset problems, i think. but i do not know, i need some advide from contie or so.

whatever, we defenilly need a script like this, and i can code but need to know what.

Making a bigger image and center everything in the middle automatically will not work. The program doesn't know where the center of the figure is, so regardless what script you want to write, you always need to center it by hand.

yes but in compare of the normal ps stack method that are really little thinks just 1 or two pixels difference, the problem is that them the offsets are not right. hm, there is definitive a way, i must just more think HOW i will realize that.

What about the opposite?, instead of adding a bigger background layer, would something like Frame Animator's auto-cutting tool work?, something that removes the background of the frames (removing not only the blue color, of course, but also the empty "space" where it used to be) when loading them into layers?

yes, that's the second variante.

I have now build my second script. It loads a folder with frames (bmp)
into layers, and the bakcground is always 1 pixel more than the biggest pic in the dir, so with this method there are also no problems with offsets in FramAniamtor. (of course if you not ajust by your self, cause lot of same frames are diffrent in ajusting (vsuit, and leather armor for exm.)

but on this problem i am also working.

So i will public later for now its only beta and i am testing the scripts.

btw. xi'l you save your frames (when working with layers) also with the annoying ps dialog, where you have to change to bmp and then edit the framename?
or you have your own method?

Good idea. But, are you sure that the new, bigger background does not affect the offsets?; i've learned that a bigger frame can still keep the previous frame offset if it increases only by an odd number in height (upper part of the frame), and by an even number on the sides (both sides evenly). Any other increase will mess the frame offset for sure.

Yes, of course, annoying ps dialog window, but i don't have to edit anything, i just click on the frame i'm about to save and overwrite the original. But still, it's a couple of clicks i wouldn't mind avoiding... (just like it would be nice to have a keyboard way to trigger the "flatten image" function instead of having to go to the layer options to click it).

@x'il i i am working now on something that should save time for real. I named the hole shit FrameMap it loads all frames of an animation (exp. AA) with all derections, so you can edit all the frames at once. (aligned side by side) then you click only a key and the script saves the layers as frames like before. It's not finished yet, but i will do my best to release as soon as i can.

I was wondering if there was a two-sleeved leather jacket model made by anyone? For the combat leather jacket?

question : what letters are the pistol and melee attack animations named?

edit : nevermind, mib sent me to a site that explains it

Sick of all the raiders, mutated beasts and whatnot, this lady decided to ditch the skirt and the heels and don a black leather outfit:

What do you guys think? would you have a use for it? make or not make?

Very nice. I am all for it, especially because it's a female critter.

Yeah, a couple of female NPC critters are in order to balance out the books. :)
