New animations 2

Ok, so i've rescued this thread from oblivion and renamed it to show this variation i've been working on:

--- --- --- --- --- --- ---

Anyone cares for a black guy version? :)

IMO your 'evil cassidy' critter is set to look awesome in whatever variation you make him. I LOVE him! I also particularly like the way the skin color looks equally Latino or black :ok:

Looks not really black to me, more "dirty", like he is working in a mine or so. What I would more like to see is the bald head dude. :P

As I claimed like million times, we in BGE are highly interested in any well-finished critters. :ok:

It'll be very apparent in some on-coming BGE screens, sooner or later.

Good for Evan Holyfield, New Reno as well. :D

I too would have a use for the black-evil-gay-cassidy/metzger-whatever model :-)

Great work, X'il! Keep it coming!

As Lexx pointed out, he looks more like dirty or if the lightning was low (like he was out in the night).

Uhhhh... that's not how latinos work. Latinos aren't a ethnic group in the standard US sense.

Latino = Anyone with portuguese/spanish/galician/italian/french ancestors who, at one point, migrated to Latin America and then procreated with the people there, which usually have a mix of iberian/amerindian/african genes, with many varieties.

So latinos range from lilly white to the darkest black with several variations in between.

That guy can be both a black, or a black latino. Black North Americans are usually darker than latino blacks, but some of them are exceptions (almost anybody from the brazilian state of Bahia is a example).

The way I see it, that guy is a black latino in low light conditions.

Hehe, sure, low light conditions, given that it's done with a brush at 45% opacity. I think it looks just fine. Many people have a similar skin color (hell, some of my familiy have that skin tone). Let's say it's more a "moreno" (a light black brown-ish skin tone), how about that?.

Of course, perfection is just not possible with just "darkening" through opacity, such as the "issue" with the red-ish tone areas, but those are inevitable, but like i said it looks fine to me, the red-ish tones are just "the consequence of walking around shirtless in the hot, dry, radioactive, post-apoc wasteland" how about that? (or they are just "scar" areas) :P

Here's how it looks like in-game:

Well, as i said earlier, i love the amibiguity of his skin-color. It's quite normal (even chic) in games and movies these days for a character to be kind-of-black - so as to let the viewer/player decide for themselves their racial characteristics.

That said, i realised looking at the default black critter in FO that it seems to me to be the black hair, more than the dark skin, that makes that critter clearly black (as in afro-american/afro-caribbean/afro whatever)

The "Black EC" critter is finished:

---- ---- ---- ---- ----

It has all of the animations the original "EC" critter has, PLUS the spear set animations.

There's bound to be some ugly spots here and there  , but as long as you don't get too "perfectionist", the critter will do just fine.

As for the what the critter "is" ( :P ):

- A black guy
- a not-so-black guy,
- a dirty-crazy homeless guy,
- a guy who just finished his work shift at the mine,
- a gay-bdsm mud-wrestler

so, here's the link for this "multi-purpose" critter:

:)

I can't remember who it was but someone made these cigarette smoking animations a while ago. Does someone know if this was finished and if it has all animations, for male and female, etc? This thing was pretty cool too, and I bet there would be a way to include it into FOnline too. :)

@ X'il:
I took the liberty of downloading your work. Thank you for the contribution to the Fallout community!

My pleasure. :)

EDIT: How about this one?:

Anyone cares for dual-minigun-wielding super mutant animations??

Is that for Marcus? He can barely use one minigun without killing half your party! What do you think is gonna happen with two miniguns?! (Although, I do like the art.)

 Definitely not for Marcus, that's for sure!

Though the general idea of it is precisely that, to make an even deadlier super mutant (and to add a little variety there as well, i guess).

But, well, so far it's just an example, i'm posting it here to see if people like it and/or will have a use for it, before deciding to make the whole set. :)

Hey, Josan!, cool you approve. Maybe you CAN use it for Marcus for one of those ever-increasing the difficulty and challenge of the game mods of yours! (twice the risk of being blown to bits by Marcus!) :P :D
