Excellent work, really impressive! This might be a bit offtopic but it would be nice if someone answered - what happened to those attempts of making 3D models? They were supposed to substitute all these frame by frame tortures, right?

I'll use the Vault City female vaultsuit to start modifying the female V13 pajama (it's only NW and NE parts anyway, i think.)
Would be probably a good start for a newb like me.

It looks good, and i don't mean to discourage you from a good start, but there is already a red robe (with exactly the same color) with all animations made... in fact there's various robe variations, including green, light blue, dark blue, emerald, red/brown... :shrug: Maybe you could try a different color (such as a dark brown or black variations)?

Hehe, given some of the comments in this page it seems i'm among the few that downloaded that huge pack of critter color variations Grayswandir posted some time ago...

Most of it seemed to have been experimentations and 'playing around' but there is some finished stuff like the various robes:

All of these above have all the animations.
 
I made the dark robe (the hubologist one) manually some long times ago, about at the same time i made the CA, the old link is dead but it is somewhere on my disk, I will try to find it again.

Ha ha, good old times. :) In another pack I also made a orange one a white one, a light blue one, a snow CA ( with a white shadow) etc,etc,...
But all of these models don't really look good enough to me any more, with the exception of the green robe, one set of brown CA and the colored Power Armor, and the colored vaultsuits, the ian green/brown pants

They are stored in a disk, the disk is in an old broken computer, the computer is in a box, the box is under my bed, so don't worry, they are safe! :)
There were too much for me to upload at the repository, and links have this tendancy to die after some times, threads go on etc,etc...:P
If you wanna see how a good red robe should look like (in my opinion), you should look at the work of these two french modders Aguirre and Terbitator. But this model is off limits for now.

I tried black to start with and it looked shit so I decided to do red one instead. I didn't know there was already a shit ton of them out there.

Here are the black ones I did, the're not very good(look at the NW one).
