Indeed I have done this before. You can set obj_vis and obj_invis and call it via all sorts of variables. You can even do it with wall blockers.

The MAJOR problem is you cannot do this method with tiles. So all buildings would need to be roofless and tent roofs would have to stay on the map which is the biggest problem with this method. Great for scenery - not so good for buildings.

Well, the Tankers Vagrants saw the chosen one leaving San Francisco with the Tanker, then I guess it's just word of mouth.
:D True. It's just the word of mouth is very quick!!

Ack. Yeah, I knew it worked for scenery and walls. I completely forgot about the issue with floor tiles, and I hadn't even considered the roofs.
 
This might be the place where the Vault boxer could flourish...and now I've got to build a bald, long hair, and female version.

They are limited in their weapon choices - punch - knife - spear - hammer (yet to be built) - SMG (yet to be built) , that's until we build a tribal with all the weapon animations...up to it X'il. :P

That might help some. But, I'm more concerned about that 255 map limit.
I think that would be a better solution I feel that adding more elevations to maps would require some modification for the mapper too.

I made the current maps from scratch. I kept a few ideas from what I saw in their screenshots, like the hotel or the bar.

Gah, if only I had kept track, I could've given you access to some of those I still keep on my disk. Maybe you could still recycle Calleb and Jargo's stuff?

This is full newest unfinished Arroyo Mod (alfa7) and sources of Headers and scripts. I need to consult with Silencer, then probably I will public a link.

If it is still unfinished when MR is completed... this is something I would be happy to work on . :D
 
I'd offer my help aswell if you need anything.. Not saying I'm a perfectly experienced guy, but I can learn. ;)
