New Design

Compared with old design new one sucks a lot imo.
I mean green and white on black background were more .... Fallout like.
Now site looks like some toys factory home page.


"Ugly" isn't good word .... how about "cheap" ?


Oh, one thing is great about this new design: thanks god forum still loks the same !
 
I preferred the old Lay out better. As for the question on non IE's being able to read the Poll, im running Netscape 7.1, and I can see the poll and all of the text perfectly fine. Wish you would go back to the old color scheme. Guess it dosent matter though, as long as the content of the site is good...
 
Well the new layout isn't so bad after all, but the grey text on the white background :?:
And another thing - "links", what's with this weird highlights

you just have to fix some details, and I know that takes time :)
 
There are some minor fixing of course, still not completly done with it.. In fact this layout has been on the shelf for some time now, and I just about had enough and finished it myself..

As to going back to the old one, nah..won't happen, either a new design will come up or this will be tickered with and stays. So get used to it for now, damn you guys are hard to please..
 
Just so you guys know, this is how it looks for me (ie no grey on white, plain black on white).. does it look the same on other browsers?

Well, all I can say is: 'It looks great.' It does, really. Maybe you should put the PipBoy next to the No Mutants Allowed caption, though, since there's still a lot of empty space there. But all in all, it looks fine to me. Lighter. More inviting. Subtle, yeah, 'subtle' is a swell description. Ain't got no problems with grey text or whatever either. Works just fine on my machine. In any case: congratulations on a job well done!
 
I have light grey text on a white background. Suffice to say, it's not very easy to read. This is on Mozilla Firebird 0.7.

Try reloading the page, or clear your chache. The code is changed, your browser just doesn't know it yet.

You guys know, it's strange that it looked like this. Because at home it was like it is now...oh well..
 
Too bright, too white! My eyes goddamnit! 8) Make it a little darker and change the Indiana Jones fonts. The rest is good.
 
So, NMA is moving its focus away from Fallout and on to Indiana Jones. Too bad.

The work in itself is nice, though, I just don't think it's fitting.

The old layout was better too, imo.

Oh, and DARK COLOURS PWN YOUR ASS. That's one of the elementary axiomes of the universe.
 
Actually I agree, the color scheme is not working- white, browns and sand colors. But more, the theme is off. You have a machine moving boxes in a factory. That could be Japan! What happened to the nuclear war-apocalpyse-fallout shelters-radiation-mutants that are more germane to Fallout?

No, sorry Odin, I don't like it. It looks nice, but not for here.
 
Basicly a new logo would do the trick, sand colors is a part of the fallout wasteland.. other suggests are welcomed..
