New Fallout 2 animations (sniper, wakizashi, etc)

Should the player use one or two hands when thrusting with the sword?

If this gets finished and turns out good, I will add these animations to the scoped weapons in F2WR.

About the females: good question. I'm probably gonna have to take some short cuts with this mod - skipping females for the first release is one.
I'm probably going to use the standard JC & JD animations as they're so rarely seen. I may well also flip all sequences to reduce the work by 50%, which will mean the player switches between left-right handed. From doing this in the NPC armour mod i think it's barely noticable anyways.

I didn't, but it's great to know now that you weren't just making random naked women for the hell of it and they'll be in a mod.
 
Hey, Josan12, I've got a suggestion: why don't you create a chainsaw animation? I'm sure it would be a real improvement to Melee skill users.
 
The wakizashi animation will get done once i've finished the sniper animation. Killap is keen to have new graphics for the RP, so he may well include it when finished, and MIB88 is also interested. I also have some plans to juice up some of the existing animations a little;

1) the minigun animation in particular i think is a bit weak. I plan to basicly make it a bit more dramatic and give it some proper recoil (it is a damn minigun after all!)

2) Hopefully a slightly modified minigun animation for the gatling laser to differentiate it.

They're "part" of the Throne (scenery). They're both slaves. One of them is a drunk raiders' whore. Because of technical problems I can't put chains at their necks :?

And another art that may be considered as "controversial" (because of half naked hanging female body)...

Oh noes! Sexual themes! :o

You mean the chainsaw, right? Please, say yes!

BTW, the minigun animation is awesome, I love the added details. Only one complaint: Isn't the recoil a little too strange? I think you could just make the character take two steps aback.
Also, it would look better if you made a band banding the bullets.
 
Suggestion for additional hit animation:
This might be silly, but how about one where the character gets spun around from a hit - maybe 270 degrees - so not quite spun all the way.

Could add a script to go along that this animation might only occur if the player/character has less than 3 luck?
