New Fallout 2 animations (sniper, wakizashi, etc)

Should the player use one or two hands when thrusting with the sword?

Here's another new animation
i'd like to make. Its intended for
the hero when wielding the sniper
rifle or hunting rifle.

1) do people think it would significatly
improve the game?

2) is it possible to add a new hero
weapon animation without removing
an old one?

Yes, it's possible. Create a new set of images, and ensure that the names of the images have the correct letters in them (i.e. drawing a weapon, firing a weapon, running, etc.)

- for some people it will, since some of them are complaining about rifle animations. It looks great, I hope you continue with it. I for one look forward to it.
 
Hey Josan it will be a lot of work but when you make this you are defenility nominated for the modder 2008 xD

I'd guess this will take a week or two to complete.
Most of my spare time goes to the NPC armour
mod.....
 
Really good job :clap: i think it will serve well for scoped hunting rifle and sniper rifle and any other weapon i forgetting now
 
I steal wi-fi from my neighbors and they have a content filter that wont let me see your images, BUT, what I want to say regardless is, I think you should focus on getting the NPC armor mod finished first before taking on another massive project like this. Unless having another project would be a breath of fresh air, meaning this sniping animation is something you really want to do, so much so that it would give you energy to work on the others, I would recommend you wait until you've accomplished the one miracle.
 
That's beautiful. Really beautiful. Finally using aimed shot will look nice. I wish I had this talent, so I could created animations for the Black Male and the Red Headed Female sprites.
 
Awesome job. I think the added animation would make the combat just a little bit more believable.

Also:

Does the hero use the same animations as the generic NPCs?

If it does, would you be able to use the animations with the generic NPC's as well without much work or trouble?
 
Sniper Anims

GOOOOOD work in that anim. It will realy add some more reality to LongRange weaponary. However, you mean 1/2 weeks to leather armor male+female or ALL armors male+female?
Ah! You is going to do something similar to work with the enviromental armor?
 
Good work. It's gonna be a lot of work and it's gonna take you a lot of time... so good luck, you're gonna need it. But that's one fine idea.

Well i promise it will get done. After doing 50,000 NPC
armour frames this is peanuts. But i think its gonna
take longer than my orignial estimate of 2 weeks as
it will have to wait until the NPC armour mod is done.
