I'm not underestimating Bennett, I'm saying he's not schemed to start for the Hawks, and certainly not at DE. Red Bryant is our strongside DE, and the other end is a Leo end. I would probably guess the Hawks lineup starting W1 as Bryant-Mebane-Williams-Avril. Williams might be replaced by McDaniel if he's not ready, Avril would go out for Irvin and Clemons when they're back.
You talk a lot about a team that you really don't know anything about.
Syphon said:Also, you might want to lower Avril's pedestal considering the supporting cast he had on the Lions Dline compared to SEA's.
Yeah, because we haven't shown an ability to maximize the usage of rushers like him. Raheem friggin Brock got 9 sacks playing parttime on this D, I'm p sure Avril will do fine.
Syphon said:That scenario isn't even as close to TB's situation. Revis, Goldson, Barron, Wright + #1 Run D might be more impressive than Phillys paper champs.
Yes, it might. But you might want to wait to see them actually do it until declaring their ability to shut down any receiving group in the NFL. The Bucs should be massively improved but should be and are in the NFL are far apart.
Syphon said:SEA's secondary shines so much only because Niner's passing game is so weak. Niners status quo elevates SEA good secondary into people overhyping them as elite. Don't get me wrong, their back four is great but who are they usually covering? Crabtree? Boldin? Davis?
...you do realize we only play the Niners twice a year (or thrice), right? We did play the Cowboys, Packers, Patriots, Lions and Falcons last year as well. Not that we did equally great against all of em, but your logic makes no sense, this defense has been plenty tested. Also Boldin only just got back to this division this offseason
Calvin Johnson had all of 3 catches for 46 yards against us. Aaron Rodgers threw for 0 TDs and the Packers scored only 12 points on this D. But sure, it's a paper tiger.
AtomBomb said:Not much mention of he broncos on here...I'm no fan of theirs, but I would pick either them or the pats as superbowl favorites for the afc, and I'll go with packers or falcons for NFC (eagles fan by the way, so no bias)
Broncos, 49ers and Seahawks are the all-around Superbowl favorites. Not that being the off-season SB favorite gets you anywhere.
