NMA Podcast Round 4 - Far Harbor and more

Apparently there are still technical issues, so not sure about that.

Since I have those three days I mentioned off, or shifts that end after 2:00, depending on how soon we hear from Chris, Wednesday or Thursday would do just fine for the original.

I should be hearing from my roommates' friend by tonight if the router/ISP ports are opened. If we need to test them, Monday night is the earliest I could really test the connections. (Only have a ten hour gap between the end of this shift and the start of Monday's.)

Now is it to late to pose another question for the interview? Because I'd love to know if he feels the Rpg market is oversaturated with fantasy settings.

There seems to be a massive lack of rpgs with
  1. Horror themed settings
  2. Western themed settings or rpgs set in the wild west(thanks @Earth)
  3. Rpgs set in the afterlife
  4. Space rpgs
  5. Sci fi rpgs
  6. And of course post apocalyptic rpgs.
  7. Alternate history rpgs.
I'd like to know if any of these setting sound like a good idea for an rpg to him. And if they sound like settings he'd like to work on

@Izak wanna reword this atrociosly phrased question? Feel free.

To be fair, I've got an idea (of which I'm planning on planning soon) to make an RPG which is a cross between Wild West and Post Apocalyptic (with Sci-Fi elements).
The best way to explain the vision is imagine the Music Video for Muse's Knights of Cydonia mixed in with Fallout.

That particular combination sounds a lot like new vegas. But... Is it to late to pose New questions? You're in the podcast right?

If I can get the time, yeah.
And there's still enough time, I haven't got a response from Chris in terms of Saturday, but hopefully, we'll get a reply soon.

I was wondering about that. (My roommates' friend ended up getting food poisoning the day after I asked him to help with the router/ISP port issue. Hopefully, tonight or tomorrow, he can come this way.)

I'm really hoping it's Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday are no bueno for me (I'm moving into a new house this week.)

Damn, this saturday is not right for me. All hopes for podcasts being more frequent to catch another one.

Wednesday? Well, crap. I'm moving into a new house on Tuesday and I might not have internet or be able to get to B&N for a while. Might have to wait this one out.

How do these podcasts work?
Can everyone join or do you have specific speakers? Not that my verbal English is that great.

We're still waiting to hear from Chris, and we'll likely go with a very short podcast this time to save on time, so if you come in for a Part 2, have some brief thoughts at the ready about the past topics.

Everyone who is able to join can join. No idea how much of a language barrier there would be until I or someone else spoke to you, though.

I got a response this morning-

Jamie, my apologies - crazy busy week. So:

- Was gone most of last week, so the 18th ended up coming and going before I got back to you.
- I haven't ever used TeamSpeak, but if you walk me through it, happy to download it and use it.

- If you want to use Skype, I'm fine with that as well.

If you're up for doing a recording Friday after noon PST, I'm down. Next week (the week of the 27th) is fine as well (would be a Friday again, if possible).

This is up to you, but if you would be willing to send me the questions in advance, happy to research the answers (sometimes I find that digging will make more interesting responses, since sometimes I can't recall the exact dates or details of a specific question).

Let me know!
Chris
