Yeah yeah, lying and hyping developlers, they are kinda cute as long they are still small ... but once they grow up and start to destroy your beloved franchises ... you can't flush them down the toilet anymore.

"Todd Howard ain't got shit on me" and "We don't even have to do damage control, kids on reddit do it for free!" LOL
"So what do you really do in the game?" -> "Collect shit with your shit-collecting gun then f*** off to another planet...$60 well spent"

I was playing No Man's Sky before it was even announced. And it was better.
Still a mess but still better.

But seriously, if russians outplay you on the very your field, it's cyberhumiliation. So-called 'Hello' Games are hell-of-a miserable studio.

But if Russians... wait... outplay you how...
With better space exploration game with a similar gameplay concept NMS have years before this shoddy cellphone casual game in disguise happend to even be announced, don't you see?

Yo, bucketheads!

We finally have a response from Hello Games:

Aaaand on Steam the recent rating is at 8% and overall is at 31%.
I feel zero sympathy for them. He actually has the gall to say that it is the fans fault for the game being released too early. Grow a fucking backbone, Sean. If the game ain't fucking ready and you have budget and time to still work on it then tell the whiners to shut the fuck up and wait. Instead you release this hollow piece of shit without informing people of the vast amount of features not yet implemented and instead just kept the kind of radio silence that would put Bethesda to shame.

Fuck NMS and fuck this dick who's now trying to blame others and trying to guilttrip people because "oh woe is me".

>complaining that the community is upset at being shoveled unfinished shit
Sean Murray is the joke that keeps on giving isn't (s)he?
Maybe if you don't want millions of people talking shit about you, don't release an unfinished product with dishonest trailers and then go silent for months without an explanation.

He should have just stayed silent - it's a hell of a lot more "unprofessional" to make a bunch of promises that you can't possibly deliver on, release a broken empty shell of a product anyway, and then play the victim when the shitstorm lands on your head. Nothing like swindling your customers out of their money and then blaming them for being pissed off about said swindle to build up good will in the "community".

And I have no idea what rock this guy has been living under, but when an outfit like Sony throws millions of dollars at you, they goddamned well expect something in return, or a damned good reason for why you couldn't deliver.

He probably just cemented his own place right next to Big Rigs Over the Road Racing as a complete and utter gaming industry failure.

He is like a smaller and worse version of Todd Howard in the body of Pete Hynes. It's incredible to watch! From a spectators point of view.

Another primadonna... It's everyone else fault, not me I am perfect, I took millions of dollars and delivered a big turd but it was because I was pressured to deliver the game at this time....
It happened because the idiot promised too much and delivered too little, how is that the consumers or Sony's fault? I have no love for idiots who mak up excuses and blame others for their own actions. What a dickhead, he should go bankrupt and go work at a McDonalds or something.

PS: I didn't even bought, pre-ordered the game or even was interested in the stupid game and even I am angry at this idiot.

Guys this is prank. Developer's e-mail and twitter account got hacked, so this message was not written by Sean Murray.

  • Guy vents on Twitter or e-mail, should have hit "Delete" instead of "Send" once he got it off his chest.
  • Blowback from tweet or e-mail makes his already shitty situation much much worse.
  • Guy claims his account was "hacked".
How original. :whatever:

I bet his game was also hacked right before release and that is why it was what it was!

Although his account could have been really hacked, he pissed off plenty of people. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those people could hack tweeter and email accounts.
Still doesn't excuse the lies and the sucky game delivered, so he is only sleeping on the bed he made.
I am being serious when I say that if i had pre-ordered or bought that game I would try to reach other people who bought it or pre-ordered it and make a case against that company in the court of law and sue their asses to the moon.
It could lay down the foundations for gaming companies to start being afraid of pure lies and blow hype out of proportion with fake advertising before releasing games...

Twitter seems ridiculously easy to hack, given how many people have claimed to have been hacked.

Still whether or not he did say it, Sean Murray clearly has no respect for consumers.
