Obsidian?

I'm admittedly pretty excited about this idea. Not sure if it will fall through or not, but still, if fucking MrMattyPlays can get an interview with Chris, I'm sure we can. Quick question, I know Chris has posted on the Codex, but has he ever posted here in the past?

That's a good question. Ugh we're all nooblets here, we need elder blood to answer these questions! I call upon the dark powers of @Crni Vuk to help us out!

Crni, has Chris Avellone ever posted on No Mutants Allowed before in any capacity?

I recently got into contact with Chris, I have his E-mail and stuff

Oh, hey, well you know, that's great. That means he's open to talking to the public right? I agree with Brahmin, you should try asking, politely of course, if he'd be willing to do an interview with NMA. If he says yes, then I can make that forum post about letting people post questions on what they'd want to ask Chris Avellone, and after that we could start looking for something to host the interview with along with, if possible, your idea about a chatbox the interviewer could read where people could ask questions during the interview.

Sounds like a plan. I'm excited, this could be a chance to really learn a lot, and to have a great time. We might want to be a bit careful though when it comes to topics about Fallout 4 (if that ever even comes up) because he genuinely sounds like he enjoys it.

I will try, bear in mind I sent him an E-Mail regarding how to get in the Games Industry, but yeah, he seems rather open to talking to people.
We will need to organise a date first, just so it looks more professional. And if he is willing to talk to MrMattyPlays of all people, I'm sure he'll be up for being interviewed by us.

That would actually be amazing if you guys could pull it off. I know Josh Sawyer posted here a very long time ago from digging up very old threads when I used to lurk, but I have no idea if Chris Avellone ever did. I think he would be willing to do it, he seems like a nice enough guy.

Alright, uhm, I will go ahead and make the forum post about it and maybe once we get the ball rolling then we can come to an official date.

Yeah, I'm completely down for this.
As someone said before, it'll be nice to have him on an NMA Podcast, it could be like a Chris(t) Avellone Special.

Ehm, wait, should the topic regarding questions go in the Fallout Discussion forum or the General Discussion forum? It's about an NMA interview but it's also basically a Fallout interview so I'm not sure where to put it.

Probably just Fallout general, since most questions will probably be about Fallout/it's basically an interview about Fallout? Up to you though.

I would say General Disscussion Forums, as the interview doesn't have to be exclusively about Fallout. Dunno, it could go either way.

Done and done, I went ahead and put it in the Fallout forum since I figured that would probably be a better place for it. 90% of the questions are going to be Fallout related, I guarantee it, and since the General Discussion forum has that big ole banner that says "No talk directly related to Fallout!" I feel an interview with the head writer for Fallout would fall under that category.

Alright, let's get the party started!
