i would personally keep the russian weapons out of an american military base tbh... unless one of the officers was a collector and kept it in his personal gunsafe or something like that
 
Would any of the characthers other than Arco , Jack, and Tenel Ka have any energy weapon skill ?

Just wonderign since the laser/plasma pistols are on the list.

then what about M16s?
 
Fenix is good with energy weapons..........seeing as his primary is one.

Also BK I don't think M-16's will be too rare seeing as they are standard issue( or at least guns similar to them such as M4A1 and AR-15.)
 
My character is not a very good energy weaponer...yet, but I'd be glad if I could let him find an AKS-74U ...? Can I?
 
Those definatly wouldnt be in an american bunker, pretty hard to control little smg hybrid anyway ;)
 
Like I said, you guys are free to figure out what specific guns should and should not be here.

Okay anyways, I will be gone until thursday evening (-6 time zone).
You guys are totally free to wonder around and explore and fight stuff. I should note that nothing on this level as far as badies are too serious. There are probably some small animals, I.E. rats, dogs, cats. There is also the possibility of having these creatures mutated by the FEV because it is somewhat present at this site.

OKay, I will see you guys on Thursday.

lol he cant find a kalshnikov, but you want to have an evolved and modified version of it? lol. in itself i'm not against finding a soviet weapon, but it should be a rare event. finding a Krinkov would be very rare indeed. Miles seems to have his heart set against it though.

it's not as if the US weapon industry is running low on weapons you know... how about a Ruger AC556 with metal folding stock and shortened barrel? it's from the same period in time, about the same functionality, a bit longer, easier to handle, reliable, uses 5.56mm NATO (.223 rem) and should pretty easily be found in america... (of course keep in mind it is NOT an assault rifle due to it's shortened barrel, it should be viewed as a SMG. it lacks the range and accuracy)
 
If any soviet weapons are there, they should be in the commanders office and have extremly limited ammo, if any.

sorry for the lack of posting, but dont wanna stress our little doggy ;)

as it was said in the beginning the dog would only support a couple of runs, in the meanwhile several have gone down and now rob has used it to go a level lower too...

so i'm just waiting for the power to kick in
 
Hey guys I just reamred my guy and he will be a little encumbered so whoever wants a really nice laser pistol kit with unlimited ammo and power almost equal to a plasma rifle should call first dibbs. The ammo for the new guns weighs roughly 20 pounds and the gun itself weighs 9 seeing as it is made from high tech materials. The Pistol and it's backpack weigh about 30 lbs. together and are connected with a thick insulated power cable.

Pyro, my characther would proably trade some weapons for your old one.


Also, power generators back on, but someone needs to find the main computer and reactivate main power. (Jack's gona head to do that, but if someone else gets there first.....)
 
Suaside you have an M249 saw gun that fires 5.56 effectively to 3 or 4 hundred yards and goes through any personal armor.

I got a gun that fires .22 out to about 75 yards before the accuracy goes. It is basically a shotgun except really unique, and designed for very close fighting.

Even so you are still right Suaside I kinda went nuts seeing as I found that being in a Science facility for testing hi tech stuff went to my head and I will ask next time.

And I will break my new targeting reticle thingy if you want.
 
I thought this was really just a half assed science facility that was made out of a old waste storage bunker to house new Fev testing and other devices.
