My dad used it a lot back in the day. I remember him using it and playing Morrowind on this fancy HP computer he had during his last years of college.
 
Geting older in this day and age is so strange. You're talking about those things which our parents hated us for like as it's ... normal. When I was your age (you're 12 or 13?) adults in their late 30s playing vidgy games was seen as rather strange. Now the kids call them self "zhe" and hook up on furry sites while being adicted to fortnight.

Anyway, Microsoft would have to be really fucking stupid to fuck up Discord. Shit's already super popular and has the basic free stuff. If they leave that alone and just expand on what the premium subscription offers then they'll be fine. If they start taking away what's already free, then it's going to die within a week as people flock to another app.
 
I could see them building it into something that will compete with Slack honestly. Have Discord for leisure like now and then a secure or maybe even locally hosted version that companies can use.
More updates and expand what I get with my Nitro subscription like you said.

AR version of Discord would be cool. Either used with glasses or app integration with phone cameras.
