I just wanted to know. Why does Welsh not update. I know that you are a very busy man and I am sure Welsh like all of us is busy. So I was just wondering why not share the duties?
 
Yes, Welsh is busy too. He's free to update as well; he already did so on Monday, and he wrote part of the huge update I posted last weekend. It's up to him if he's going to update, though.
 
No, I'm not at all angry. That's the problem with posting instead of talking - nobody can see your facial expressions. I guess that's what emoticons are for. :)
 
Chainsaws are in a class by themselves. 8)

The chainsaw has its own skill, with a base value of 20%. It's rare to find someone who actually has it. A current or former lumberjack might. Some characters have special skill bonuses. For example, Alex had a +20 to all unlisted weapon skills, so he could have used a Chainsaw with a 40% chance.

Alex sould still be arround. He realy sould have stuck arround for breakfast. Now, he's stocking his footlocker in the big barracks in the sky... (meh... If he survived, he would have gotten offed by nazi's, or posessed phesant.)

What about a pnumatic nailgun? Thats a weapon, right? :lol:

At present I am in the midst of general NMA business which is -
(1) Much less fun
(2) Much more painful to my head
(3) Much to much time consuming.
(4) Much important to NMA, or so I suspect.

But yes, I am buried. I have also been doing some of the back work elsewhere (which I need to finish and get to Handy).

To be honest, as much as we enjoy zombie apoc, this puppy is one monster to keep. Often it is a lot of fun, sometimes it is merely rewarding and always it is a labor of love and no other reward.

My fundamental rules of Roleplaying- here or elsewhere are-
My fundamental rules of roleplay are-
(1) I expect you to be committed
(2) I expect you to write at your best
(3) I expect you to remain courteous to other players.
and most of all
(4) this is just fucking around. If you got more important stuff to do, than you best do it.

Keepers need to abide be these rules as well, otherwise this won't work.

Right now I have (4) to concern myself with- Two chapters of dissertation to get done quickly- 5 to finish by May. That's a lot of freaking work.

For me this is a lot of fun, but fundamentally - just fuckiing around.
Got to keep your shit together, ya know what I mean?

There is a second reason- Handy has essentially taken on the day-to-day management and a ship can't have two captains. I am glad he's here and doing it. We communicate regularly, compare notes and ideas, plan the future. But I think it better that Handy take point on much of the posting least it create confusion. I am following the story and providing input when needed.

If the game slows down a bit, that's fine. We've gone at a pretty good clip so far and we can slow this down.

As long as you and Mr. Handy understand that when I move down to North Carolinia next week there may a few days I do not post right away until I get more settled.

Part of it is moving to find a job on the east coast. The major part is to go to a weight loss clinic to help me lose more weight. The nice thing is however that i will be able to have internet access in the hotel I am staying at and with the loss of weight it will give me more confidence and make me look better to sell myself better to get a good job.
 
Good luck with the move. It's okay if you can't post for a few days, and thanks for letting us know.

We still plan on expanding the game on the other site eventually, but due to time constraints it's going to be a while. I think we're looking at March at the earliest.

It's doubtful I'll have a chance to update tonight, and I think we've had enough minor updates this round anyway. The next one will be a major one, and should come Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Since I've got a 3-day weekend, I may be able to make another major update on Monday as well.
 
Just wanted to let you guys know that I am back into action, and if allowed, I would like to enter this new chapter of the roleplay.
 
Welcome back, Gonzalez! Of course you can jump back in. You've got Michael back (and Willie as well if you want him), as well as Bobby Sheen and Igor Malanowski. I'll send you your new characters' secrets after dinner. You can start posting again any time you're ready. Let me know if you're still playing Willie too.

Bobby Sheen has a Spot Hidden roll he should make this round.

I'll hold off on updating until Friday night or early Saturday, so you and Stardreams will have a little more time to catch up and post. I've got other things to catch up on myself in the meantime.
