Here's an idea:
With the procurement of the Fallout intellectual property along with all assets of the franchise, including design documents for Fallout, Fallout 2, Van Buren, Fallout: Tactics, Fallout: Tactics 2, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2, Bethesda Softworks possesses a large number of unique materials about the game.

(...)

No, it would be an excellent move on their part, as it wouldn't require much effort, as they hold the assets in their possession, and would be a gesture of good faith to the fanbase, both hardcore and regular fans.
Link: Petition: Release of Fallout design documents by Bethesda Softworks.

Thanks King of Creation and Mikael Grizzly.

Re: Petition: Release of Fallout design documents by Bethesd

My logic tells me that they wouldn't do that. They'd be too afraid of us researching the documents then ripping their game apart for not staying true to the Fallout Universe.

On the other hand, my conscience told me to troll in the comment blank. Well, I listened.

I signed.

I do hope they do, but I don't really trust them to do it. Do!

Well, signed.

But I obviously don´t expect any result. You know how the petition usually ends...

I salute you!

No, that's called blind fanboyism...It was a second hand and it was 6 euros but it still sucked ass ! I don't feel like getting rid of it though. I don't know why... :?

I guess I will ( sort of ) enjoy Fallout 3 now that I've played B.O.S ! I mean, it can't possibly be any worse than that.

Signed....

When it asked me what Fallout games I owned, I had to be honest...

(Though I do not lie about burning BOS, that was fun... "The fire has given it superhuman strength!")

Hello generalissimofurioso,

You really burned a copy of that game?
Isn't that a bit of a waste of money?

It was a gag gift I got from my friends(they spent $5 American on it), we spent the day making fun of it and it's awfulness...

We then attempted to blow it up with firecrackers, that didn't work. Then we attached it to some fountains (those fireworks that spew sparks and fire) and the game and back cover turned into a pile of slag... somehow the front cover and manual survived. So I decided to attempt to destroy them with my bare hands, when I got burned by the searing hot cover, I tried to blow up the manual... it didn't work.

By this point I was very angry, so ignoring the damage it would do to my hands, I tore the remnants apart with my bare hands and put them into a garbage can (All the while cursing up a storm for the camera, speaking of which I must find the video).

Good idea, unlikely to happen though.

I'd rather they just read (re-read?) the material and comprehended the original vision.. :)
