Pipboy companion app for Fallout 4 is out

This corporate selling is so sicking. First the beer, jackets, bobble heads, bags and now this. My Star Wars analogy for the Fallout series is becoming more true with each passing day.

I agree, it takes more time to look way from your screen just to pick up your phone to use the damn app than to keep looking at the monitor and press tab.

Why would they release this so early? There is literately no use for it until the game comes out a week from now.

Well... The app is free. The beer is just a dumb idea since all they did was slap the Fallout logo on the bottle when they could've been creative and at least made it Gamma Gulp or something. But what's wrong with the other merchandise. Selling t-shirts and figures for something isn't really that bad.

I don't mind it if it is done sparingly but now it is out of control. Beth is now just slapping on the Fallout brand to everything just to sell a quick buck to over hyped and gullible idiots.

Uhmmm for when you are too lazy to press the Tab Button but not lazy enough to pick up your phone?

It's meant for the tards that bought the pipboy edition. For immersion purposes. "It's like you're in the game!"
Lol, that's harsh, but damn who the f*&^ runs around with a pound of plastic on their arm because it came with a videogame and it allows them to check on their st- oh god no no no.

One thing I don't understand with this thing is whether or not it syncs up completely with the pipboy in-game. Like could someone use the real pipboy to change their in-game stats, look at the map, or whatever else it does without having to pull up the one in-game in real-time and on the fly. Otherwise it seems pointless to me.

Yes. It's the in game pip-boy interface put on your phone.

I am just wondering what is even the use for it when the Pipboy can be brought up with a key and the app forces you to look away from the screen anyway.
