Point Lookout press release, screenshots, trailer

I'm getting immune to these garbage trailers, was I mistaken or was that trailer nothing but shooting stuff. Even FPS trailers aren't like that.

On one hand as an FPS this looks pretty nice, its a shame it never looks that good in action (I bet they had to cut it that way cause of crashes) but this ISN'T AN FPS ITS AN RPG and that is what makes this NOT GOOD. It has nothing to do with the feel of fallout and it lost all semblance of logic months ago.

An RPG? Oi, what gave you THAT crazy idea? FO RPG has been dead since 1998.

BTW, I think Beth needs to do a "snakes on a plane" DLC for FO3: "You're on a plane, and there's giant snakes that bite through power armor..."

We've made a huge world in an airplane that you can explore any way you like. It's the most open-ended and immersive DLC yet. It introduces a pistol entirely made out of plastic that you can bring on planes. Don't be fooled by it's appearance, if you repair it enough it shoots deadly plastic darts that produce thermonucleosplosions in contact with power armor. There are also extremely hard moral decisions, you can for example choose to blow up economy to grant you access to the cockpit.

More on topic, who pays for this bullshit? The music at the end of the trailer just hammers that crayon into the already retarded brain.

Out of all the DLC released so far I have not downloaded a single one. This does not look too bad however. Yeah, it doesn't fit but then nothing fits with the original, as this forum has discussed to death. If the writing can match the detail of Dark Corners then it could be a worthwhile purchase.
I don't think that will happen, Call of Cthulhu: DCoTE was made by Headfirst, and Beth just published it. Like Brink.

Ah well nevermind. Really did enjoy Dark Corners. Played a few horror games since then but nothing with the atmosphere of that game.

Too bad that Bethesda spend only few bucks on marketing that game, if CoC: DCoTE sold well we would now have a game based on Lovecrafts "At the Mountains of Madness".

Same here!
Best of all was the fact that was based on the works of the Master of Providence (whom you might be familiar with, based on your avatar...).
Shame that Headfirst went bankrupt, it was meant to be a trilogy...
