I think Rosh is waiting for the game's release so he can circumvent the responses of the fucktards who keep saying things along the lines of:

"But you haven't played it yet, so you can't possibly know what it will be like!"

I won't name any names, but there have been plenty of those in the recent past, and it's truly infuriating to have to explain why that line of reasoning is complete bullshit, every couple days..

Yeah. That argument, more than anything*, pisses me off.

I don't need to have unprotected sex with a prostitute to know that it is a horrible idea. I have readily available material that indicates to me that there is a significant chance that I'll get some sort of disease that will cause my girlfriend to blow my head off with her super-sonic scream-waves.

Achievements that add more replayability to a game are the best, I replayed through Half-Life 2: Episode Two for the challenege of delivering the little garden gnome to his rocket ship.

Yeah...I'm only 22 years old, but these guys make me feel old as fuck...We are probably too old to understand the awesomeness that is Oblivion and the uber-pwnage that is Fallout 3.

Actually, I can somehow understand where they are bringing this poor licence. As I see it, they just decided to go for the coolz and the pwnz and to leave the canon, depth and coherence behind. Fallout 3 will probably be an enjoyable experience for those who didn't play the two first episodes intensely and for those who never read anything at the Vault Wiki because they won't be able to understand why orcs, the fatman, Dj Dawg etc aren't ok.

If the new Fallout is successful it'll most likely go the same way as TES. Each new iteration will bring a new fanbase and the old fans will be ostracized.

I'm pretty sure every generation of Beth fans are ostracized when they hit puberty.

The only thing I'm hoping for is a good modding support so that people can actually turn the game in what it should have been.

The first thought that came into my mind when I read robot horse was: those lazy fucks! I would normally pray to god that it doesn't happen but

a: I realized awhile back when joining the beth forums that Fallout 3 is gonna fail, might as well enjoy the fail. Remember waiting a month for that teaser? Good times.
b:the writers at the escapist are obviously rat whores. Wait - no I meant tools. Tools in a big tool pond. As previously expressed in this thread: previews are 50% bullshit and that's the standard. But when Bethsoft does previews at the Escapist, you know you're in for a >insert tasteless pun here<

I want the robot horse. I mean something has to replace the groin shots, eye shots, isometric view, and soul of Fallout. Fuck.

Seriously. What is there to lose? One less thing to mod.
