Rate the above song and post your own.

A 9/10. Yes, I'm drunk. I also left our ancestral Slavic homelands a week ago, and am now living in Italy.

Well, if it was good enough for Tesla, it's sure as hell good enough for me (besides being a beautiful song in its own right).

My grandmother taught me that song when I was like 4 years old. You never forget things like these.

That particular version is not my favorite, though.

Nice one.

Also, is the 1-10 scale an absolute necessity? Because I really suck at that, with me it's basically dislike, meh, or like.

The fact that I never listen to music when I'm not euphoric or drunk doesn't help much either.

Just in case though, I'm going to go with 8/10

I'd say that this is one of the most touching Cossack songs that I am familiar with, but when I think about it, all of them really strike a chord with me.

@Atomkilla Which version do you prefer?

8/10 not usually a huge fan of this type of music, but I can listen to it from time to time.

Speaking of childhood music.

That was pretty good actually, music video was really weird though. 7/10

My all time favorite Bob Marley song.

7/10 sounds like a nice radio hit, something nice to listen while you are cruising.

It reminded me of this, its also something nice to listen while you are cruising down the road.

6/10, but I really hate rating music because musical tastes are very personal and my rating would be totally unfair, so give it whatever rate you like, I'm only rating it because that's the rule of the thread, but I tink we could post without rating, or just giving rads or thumbs up to the previous song if we really liked it or something.

Anyway, just wanted to share this:

This seems pretty epic and sad. What are they singing about?

Also, what I've been listening to just now. Best track on the album by far:

Also, kinda reminiscent of Fear Factory. Not sure which song came first, I'm guessing Fear Factory. Not sure if this is some kind of tribute or just plain coincidence, but I thought it was pretty funny.

This is weird. Then again, I've never been a fan of death metal so I'm not familiar with it's subgenre. I'm not a big fan of growling but I really like the instruments so I'll put it a 7.5/10.

Seriously though, cam't we just stop rating songs? I agree with Gonzalez on this.

While I was never really interested by EDM, I started listening to Aphex Twin and Borders of Canada recently and some of their stuff is pure gold in my opinion, like this song.

Used to be heavily into IDM and breakcore. Aphex Twin stays solid gold. My favourite tracks of him are his more acid techno inspired songs, though. Can't get enough of that Didgeridoo.

Wow. 1992. Suddenly I feel ancient.

Weren't we supposed to spoiler tag the links?

Anyway, 4/10 I guess.
I love the digeridoo but the techno beat sounds so... Well.. generic. I like the intro and the interlude at 4:14, it's very mininal with it's techobeat then but otherwise it feels too repetitive for my taste.

Might've done this one before, whatever, it's still good.

Some emo up in this bitch. Goddamn I get the feels from this.

6,5/10 I guess. Not a big fan of hardcore vocals, but the rest is pretty passable.

Now on to some cyber/industrial melodic death metal with very thick russian accents and cool art.
