Rate the above song but this time its video game osts

R.Graves

Confirmed Retard
i wanna stress that the thread is specifically meant for osts so don't be posting big iron or no rest for the wicked if you're a bordlernads faggot. actual songs with lyrics and whatnot are fine as long as they were created for a video game as promotional material or appear in game.

been playing a whole hell of a lot of hitman 2 and the soundtrack, while good, well... its no apocalypse.

also yeah i saw the bordlernads typo and it made me laugh hard enough that i decided to keep it.

i mean its nice background music but i literally just listened to it and i've already forgotten how it goes.

5/10

10/10, but to be fair that's kind of my opinion of the entirety of the soundtracks for the first two Fallout and I'm unabashedly biased.

Great music is one of those reasons why Rondo of Blood is and will always be the best Castlevania game, 9/10.

6/10 Not bad, but not something I'd listen to more than twice.

(...and yet this one is of a not un-similar style; made for a similar game.)
*It takes quite a turn near the two minute mark.

Yeesh! 5/10

The ending credits of Planescape:Torment.
(This song is almost two minutes long; the video repeats it three times.)

8/10 but I always thought it was out if place when compared to the rest of the games ost. Almost as out of place as the song that plays at the end of silent hill 3. Speaking of silent hill it's soundtrack is brilliant. Going from rocking good runes to depressing melancholic ballads to music that somehow manages to physically produce anxiety just from listening to it. For an example of that last bit:

8/10 Haven't played Silent Hill, but nonetheless still love creepy ambient soundtracks such as this one, especially when they're executed flawlessly.

7/10 I do like the music from Elderscrolls, at least.

**From the comments below the video:
When i finished this game, i was young (10 years old), and as a french guy, i didn't understood the lyrics, except some few words, but i always loved this song, the dynamic tempo and the good feeling it bring. Many years later, when i came back to this song and understood the lyrics, i cried.
